Chapter 41

​She's walking back to the waiting shed while she typed her reply, then suddenly she bumped into someone.

"Oh. Sorr—" She bowed and was about to apologize but she's shocked when she saw who she bumped to.

"Hey be careful." Momo smiled at her. "How are you Mina-chan?"

"What are you doing here?" Mina asked annoyingly.

"To walk you home of course. Gosh, you two took so long to say your goodbyes." Momo rolled her eyes.

Mina tried to ignore her. She sat on the bench and pretended that she's texting someone. But Momo is persistent, she sat beside her. 

They were just quiet. After a few minutes, the bus arrived. Mina quickly got up and went inside the bus thinking that she can escape but no, Momo followed her and sat beside her. 

Urgh? What is she doing? Oh gosh I hope this ride will be quick so I can get home soon. She put on her earphones, played loud music and stared at the window. 

15 minutes after and they arrived. She got up and got out of the bus quickly. She walked in a fast pace without looking back. When she reached the first block, she removed her earphones and leaned on the wall. She breathed heavily, releived, thinking that Momo gave up on following her. "Hoo. I thought I'm going to suffocate."

"Wae?" 

She was startled as the voice came from behind. She turned around and saw Momo standing behind her. "What the?"

Momo chuckled. "You look like you've seen a ghost. Wae? You thought I'll just leave like that? I told you I'll walk you home."

Mina's eyebrows furrowed. "I don't need you to walk me home okay? I can go by myself!" She walked away. 

Momo just silently followed her. Then they reached Mina's apartment. "Can I come in—" Momo was cut off when Mina quickly went inside shutting the door behind her.

"Urgh! Why does she have to follow me all the way here? It's not like I need a chaperon or something. And besides, I've been going home alone since the day she cheated on me. Well of course except the time I met Chaeyoung. Urgh!" Mina talked to herself. She threw herself on the bed and hugged her pillow. Her emotions are mixed, she feels frustrated, mad and confused at the same time. 

After few minutes, she calmed down. She reached for her phone and texted Chaeng. 

'I'm here at the apartment now. I'll just pack some of my things and go to your house.' —Mina

Then her phone beeped.

'Oh gurae. Don't be too long and go straight home okay? Take care.' —Chaeng

Mina smiled as she read the reply. She got up and started packing her things. She just packed the clothes that she mostly use and her school stuffs. Then she prepared to go out.

She sighed deeply as she was about to open the door. "It's been 30 minutes. She must be gone already." She sighed again then went out.

As soon as she stepped outside, she saw Momo who just smiled at her. "What took you so long? I thought you already forgot about me." Then she noticed Mina brought out a huge bag. "Oh, you're going somewhere?"
