Hi guys. I know I know. I've been on Hiatus for almost a year now. I have my reasons but I'm trying to start and come back in reading fanfics again. Once I have the time and motivation I promise I'll finish this book so please don't be mad at me.

But the reason I posted here today is to share my experience in buying tickets for the concert. Idk, I just want to share it with you guys. Hehe. So here it is..

Yesterday was the preselling event for Twicelights Manila. They changed the mechanics so we didn't need to camp out. You need to register $4 worth of load promo in front of the staff so you have a chance to win the raffle. 1 registration equals to 1 raffle stub. Supposedly there's only 200 winners but due to the number of people who came to the event and people availing multiple stubs they decided to make it 400 winners. Winners have the privelage of buying tickets before the official selling date. The concert is sponsored by Globe Telecom so they have the right to hold a preselling event, of course a very good marketing strategy.

Me and my gf registered only 1 stub each. 1 stub equals to 2 tickets that you can buy if u win. We arrived at the venue at 7am and there were like 300 people already lined up. They started the registration at 9am. It was so freakin hot and we forgot to bring umbrellas so were so exposed to the heat that we got sunburned.

While on the queue, people started to get bored and impatient. Good thing that the event organizer played Twice songs in loud speaker. Fans cheered and got energized. Others sang while others danced. Emcee talked from time to time to give us updates and to entertain us. There was a dance contest as well for Twice songs. They also had like "Cheer if we say your bias' name" so of course I shouted when Mina and Chaeng's name were called. Dahyun has the loudest cheer btw. And I didn't expect that there's a lot of fanboys in Ph.

Going back, we were able to register at 1.30pm. After that we ate but the nearby restaurant was packed. Good thing that the 2 guys who lined in front of us during registration were there and asked us to join them instead as there's still 2 seats available at their table. We talked and shared things like how we started being a Once and who our bias is.
We agreed that if two out of the four us wins, whoever it is, will use it to buy tickets for the four of us (I'm the one who reccommended the idea hehe).

They waited for us to finish eating so we can go back the event together. We saw a Ph celebrity there shooting a cover of Fancy along with other Onces. It was fun.

There's also an event going on just behind the preselling area (K-Street Festival) where they sell kpop merch so we went there and checked it out to kill some time. Then we went back to wait for the raffle draw.  It was around 4pm when they started announcing the 1st batch of winners. It was for all numbers 600 and below. After an hour they resumed announcing for 2nd batch. (They flash the winning numbers on the screen and read it out loud at the same time). One of the guys that we're with won! We were so happy. Then we waited again. Just 1 more then we can buy tickets for all 4 of us. They've announced around 300 already and our numbers were still not called. My gf lost hope already but I just kept on praying that I'll win. 40 winners left, still not called. And then..... TGWP728! (That's my stub number) My eyes grew big and I jumped! I was like "Yeah! That's mine!" I faced my gf and hugged her. "I told you not to lose hope and keep the faith. Look, we won!"

We were so happy. I proceeded outside and lined up for the ticket selling. My gf and the other guy stayed hoping they'll win so they can give their stub to others but unfortunately they didn't.

We were able to buy VIP standing A but our friends had an issue with their debit card so one needed to go to an ATM and wihdraw first. He got back after 15mins but VIP A was already sold out so they had no choice but to go with VIP B instead.
