*NARRATOR'S POINT OF VIEW*

Hours passed, and Y/N still fast asleep, the young couple and parents to be finally reached their destination.

The view was amazing from where the car was parked. The sea was blue and serene, the breeze was perfectly cool, and the sky was so bright that it was almost blinding. Yoongi got out of the car and set up their picnic blanket by a nearby tree.

It was definitely the perfect day.

It was around 4 o'clock in the afternoon when the two decided to go down to the seashore to run around like little kids. There were no people in sight, just how Yoongi wanted it to be. It was their little paradise; a place far, far away from reality.

"Hey! Pretty lady," Yoongi called out. Y/N was running around, totally carefree. She was beautiful in every way a person could be described as beautiful. As the wind hit her face gently and the sea soaked the bottom of her long, white dress, Yoongi couldn't help but stare at her. She was, after all, his brand new beginning. She was his light, and she was the mother of his child. Nothing else mattered to him. Just by looking at her, he felt like he owned the world. But, the sad truth is that, the world doesn't belong to anyone. Not even Yoongi.

"Do you have a cup? I want to collect more seashells!" Y/N had already collected a handful of shells but of course, enough isn't enough for this one. "I wanna make decorations out of these shells for our baby," she added. It was enough to melt Min Yoongi's heart.

"Kiss me," Yoongi spoke, towering over his girlfriend. Y/N's eyes grew wider and wider the closer he got to her. "Kiss me, then I'll get you a cup." He was negotiating, but will she accept his offer?

"Okay," said Y/N. Without hesitation, she slammed her lips against his and kissed him deeply. They were completely lost in the moment, that Y/N's shells dropped back into the water, leaving her with nothing but sandy palms.

The two have shared so many kisses before, but this time, it was different. There was something off about their getaway because everything seemed a little too perfect. Sometimes, that means no good.

Pulling away from their kiss, both Yoongi and Y/N noticed that the shells were gone. Yoongi chuckled and shrugged his shoulders. He mouthed "sorry" and kissed Y/N on the cheek. Pretending to be upset, Y/N pouted her lips and sat on the sand. The water hit her chest as the wave fluctuated towards her, and left only her neck and head dry. She laughed it out and pulled Yoongi into the water to sit next to her. He couldn't say no and did as told.

"So," Y/N said. "Out of all the places you could think of, why take me here?"

Yoongi smiled at his woman but looked back at the vast sea in front of him, zoning out like he was being put in a trance.

"I took you here because you like water."

"That's nice.. I mean, I do, but–"

"And I think–"

"I think what?"

"And I think, it's time to," Yoongi paused and looked at the time. "5:32, fuck–" he thought to himself.

"Yoongi?" Y/N was confused.

"I think it's time to name the baby! Oh yes, the baby," Yoongi said awkwardly. Y/N knew that something was up, but she trusted him. Whatever it was, she only hoped for the best.

"Oh," Y/N spoke. The sky was slowly getting darker by the minute. It was as if a storm was forming, and once again, the whole scenario seemed off.

"It was supposed to be perfect," Yoongi thought to himself as he shut his eyes tightly before looking at his girlfriend who looked slightly uncomfortable.

"I have something in mind," Y/N finally broke the silence. Her face lit up a little at the thought of naming their child. She was ready to meet their angel, and she couldn't wait any longer.

"What is it?" Yoongi asked. He looked at his watch and shuffled in his position as if preparing to get up. He stood still, though, waiting for his girlfriend to talk. "Actually, I do have a name in my mind, too."

Y/N smiled and stroked her belly.

"I don't have a name for the baby yet, but since I love the water so much, I think it's only fitting to name our child with something related to water," Y/N explained.

Yoongi's expression changed in an instant. His lips stretched and tugged at both sides, forming a big, gummy smile.

"You know," Yoongi paused for a moment to look at his watch once again. "A few weeks ago, Eomma told me that she had a dream about a baby. She said it was a baby girl, and that she was playing in the water. She didn't tell me if it had a name, but she told me that she has a strong feeling that we are having a daughter."

"Yoongi, I have to tell you something."

"What is it?" Yoongi asked calmly.

"I found out our baby's gender today."

"I think I know what it is," Yoongi smiled and stood up. Y/N put her arm out so he could help her stand as well. "It's a girl. Am I right? We're having a daughter," he said confidently, still holding her arm and helping his pregnant girlfriend walk out of the water. Their clothes were soaked and the breeze was getting cooler and cooler. Thankfully, Yoongi was fully prepared and had a bunch of towels and fresh clothes for the both of them.

"Yes, you're right," Y/N said. She smiled sweetly at her boyfriend and kissed him softly. His skin was hot, and reminded her of their first few encounters. "It's a little princess," she added.

"Well, I guess I thought of the right name," Yoongi told Y/N as he helped her get in the car and change. He made sure to give her the warmest clothing possible. Taking a step back to appreciate the work of art he so fondly calls his woman, Yoongi couldn't help but feel emotional. There she was; the whole world and within her, their whole world.

"What is it?" Y/N, who was fully dressed in a new and clean outfit, asked cheerfully.

"Nami," Yoongi said.

"Like the island?" Y/N asked, her eyes glistening with happy tears. She was due to give birth in a few months and she couldn't be any happier.

"Yes," Yoongi answered. His gummy smile showed up again, and that little gesture made Y/N blush. "Remember when I told you that I'd take you there one day? Well, I won't break that promise but I think it's only fitting that we name that precious girl, Nami, because to be honest," Yoongi took a big breath quickly put a shirt on. It was getting colder by the minute and the young couple were eager to leave. "You're my getaway, and that little princess will be our island. The most beautiful one, of course."

Tears rolled down Y/N's face after hearing her boyfriend's sweet words. She felt a pang in her chest for no apparent reason, and it was a melancholic episode that she tried to forget so badly. She couldn't explain why she felt lonely, when in all fairness, she had so much to be happy about. Whatever it was though, she knew that love was stronger than that.

Or was it?

Meanwhile, Yoongi got in the car and started the ignition. It was gonna be a long drive back, and the couple of hours they had to drive home was the only time they had left before they go their separate ways for months. Unfortunately, Yoongi has to get back to work and go on tour. Another day, another tear.

Unable to see past the foggy road, Yoongi and Y/N, both uneasy and palms sweating, looked at each other with a tinge of fear in their eyes.

But why?

"Yoongi," Y/N's voice was small and shaky.

"Don't let go," was all Yoongi had to tell her.

That was all there was left to say.
