24."Night Out"

The night is freezing, mid January.

But the heat of the moment is stronger.

Ji Young keeps dragging Chanyeol around. She is so excited to visit this place again and she remembers every turn and corner clearly.

On their walk they stop at counters to taste some street food and desserts that they were offered, they look around at the open market and they even ask from a random passenger to take a photo of them, posing hilariously in front of a wall where there is a huge "EXO" graffiti.

But when they come across some street artists who are playing music and are singing, that's when the real fun starts for Chanyeol.

As soon as he spots them he quickly takes his suit jacket off, too excited to care about the cold and pass it to Ji Young. To be more comfortable, he rolls up the sleeves of his white dress shirt and unbutton the top two buttons, revealing some skin.

Ji Young starts to understand what he's up to when he rushes to one of the guitarists and asks him to borrow his guitar. The man gladly gives it to Chanyeol and he takes his place.

He immidiately starts playing a familiar melody. It's the 'Lady Luck' acoustic version that he has performed previously at some of EXO's concerts.

To his surprise, the second guitarist starts playing the song too and the other man gestures for Chanyeol to start singing.

And so he does.

Ji Young checks the area around them. Some people have started to gather around them but the crowd is too busy to notice them. The noise of other musicians mixed with the crowd's voices is blocking this group's music from reaching too far.

She turns her attention on them again. Ji Young can't help but smile at the sight.

Chanyeol is singing and playing the guitar passionately, his previously styled up hair are now a mess of black curls, some loose hair laying comfortably on his forehead and the veins appearing on his muscled arms while he's exchanging smiles with the other guitarist once in a while and guides him. It's a beautiful scene and she can't hide her overwhelm. She's happy to see him enjoying his night out 'He's really happy'

After the song was finished, Chanyeol returns the guitar and thanks them while they congratulate him and the audience also claps for the talented musicians.

They wave goodbye to them and walk away.

Ji Young looks at him, a joyful smile stuck on his face and a few shinny drops of sweat formed on his forehead.

She chuckles "Ya, crazy arrogant"

He eyes her as she keeps talking "Do you realize that even when you're away from the stage or your studio you still somehow find your way back to music? This is you. You made the right choice to become a kpop idol"

Chanyeol feels flattered by her nice words. He shows her his signature pearly smile and nods "Thanks Ji Young. It's really nice of you to say that"

She simply smiles at him and they look ahead. Then he turns to her again "You know, despite what I always say, you're pretty good at your job too"

Ji Young shakes her hands "Nah, I lack at some parts and I'm still improving"

Chanyeol gives her a friendly pat on the shoulder "You're taking good care of me, so you're doing your job well"
