"I don't know..."
"Oh c'mon jagi! Please~" Chanyeol begs, pushing the cart and following her around.
Ji Young bites her lips, puts a pack of uncooked rice inside the cart "I could just stay at a hotel"
"But you don't know how long it'll take for the plumber to fix the leak" Chanyeol's dark brown eyes have a playful sparkle, at times like this she feels like he's just a small kid who wants to play "Just come stay at the dorm"
She lets out a sigh "It will be awkward. What about the other eight members?"
He quickly shakes his hand "They won't mind. They'll want to help"
Ji Young's gaze moves to the selves with the endless choices of uncooked ramen packages. She's desperately trying to think of an other way, doesn't like being a burden. An idea crosses her mind and she snaps her fingers, surprising him "What about that apartment that you own? I could just stay there!"
Chanyeol's mouth falls open, his eyes widen "You can't..." he thinks fast "the whole building is under renovation" 'A small lie won't hurt'
"Ugh" she groans and lowers her eyes to the patterned white floor, desperate.
He grins, leans forward on the cart to see her face "Soo..?"
She finally gives up. She eyes him, points her finger strictly "I'll be gone as soon as the problem is fixed"
Chanyeol raises his fists in the air "Yay!"
She giggles and walks ahead, he's back again to the image of the five year old boy "We should hurry then. I have to go back to get some stuff"
[...]
Ji Young appears with a stuffed travel bag in her hands and Chanyeol quickly rushes to her.
He grabs it and she gives him a thankful smile as they head to her car.
They get inside, him seating at the driver's seat and her next to him.
"Did you inform the others? Is Suho okay with it?" She asks, fastening her seatbelt.
He does the same before starting the car "It's all settled, don't worry about it"
[...]
They arrive at the dorm and Chanyeol carries her bag as they make their way inside the dormitory.
As he was about to unlock the door, he feels a grab on his sleeve and turns around "Don't forget-"
She lowers her voice, peeking at the stairs behind them for any unexpected passengers " -they don't know about us"
"Shouldn't they know eventually?" Her hands quickly cover his mouth.
She shakes her head "Not yet at least. It will be awkward"
He moves back "Okay whatever" he opens the door and they walk under the doorframe.
No one seems to be around. Since it's morning, Ji Young thinks that they might are either busy or in their rooms sleeping.
Chanyeol closes the door when someone shows up from the hallway "Oh hey guys. You're here"
"Junmyeon hyung" Chanyeol makes a high five with the smiley leader "Where are the others?"
"Most of them are sleeping. I think only Jongin and Sehun are gone, solo schedules" he turns to Ji Young, with a friendly smile "I hope you'll enjoy your stay here. Really how bad is it?"
Ji Young follows him to the couch "The whole kitchen is flooded. They said it might even take a whole week to get it done"
Suho was about to speak but she quickly speaks first "I'm sorry for the inconvenience, Chanyeol insisted on me staying here"
