I can hear my boots thump against the ground. The blaring motel lights buzz and Rain lightly drips around me. My dark hair waves underneath my black hood. Shit. I probably look really sketchy, what if these guys aren't what people say they are. What if I'm in danger? Well, I probably am, standing in the middle of a dark parking lot at 10 to midnight. I load my gun. Never learned how to shoot it, but that's hardly a problem now, these people are either going to save me or I'm dead. The dagger rests against my forearm, hidden in the folds of my leather jacket. I slip the gun in my pocket. Warily, I follow the row of motel doors until I reach it. Room 28. Sure enough, a shining black Chevy impala is parked outside and the room's lights are on, dimly illuminating the blinds. On her deathbed, my mother told me that I needed to find the Winchesters. They would help me, she said, I could be safe. People have been after me. I reach my right hand out to gently tap on the door when suddenly, a hand extends from behind me and I try to dodge it, but cold fingers tap me on the forehead and I crumple as the world goes black.
