"You sure you're ok by yourself?" HaeNa asked again for the nth time this day

"I told you I'll be fine. If you're so worried then why don't you come with me?"

"I'm tired from all the orders for a grand party." She yawned "Don't come home late"

I stood up after finally had my shoes laced up "yes Madame"

"Yah! Where are you?"

" 'Yah??' I'm your senior incase you forgot"

"my bad eonnie but, seriously where are you? You're running late"

"I'm in Seoul already; I'll be there in less than an hour"

"Alright, see you!" She hung up

After the bus passed the toll gate, we finally arrived in Seoul; the place I hated the most but, since HyeMi's been bugging me to come to her coming-of-age party I just had to

"This place never change a single bit" I just got out of the terminal and the busy vibe of the city welcomed me. "It still feels the same"

The same air, atmosphere and sight of Seoul made me realize that I missed the capital despite the memories left in here; it's not like its the place's fault.

"To where Miss?" The driver smiled at me

"Seoul University"

"Gosh they're too loud" I could basically hear the beaming music as soon as I got off the cab

I felt so happy to be back in this old building which served as my home back then but, sad at the same time.

Same staircase, same walls, same floor and I'll be going to the same room..

Will I be ok?

A right amount of people was revealed as I opened the door to my old dorm causing my jaw to hung open

I'm not a party gal to be honest; I'm very awkward at parties. It was always suffocating

"LEE EUNBYEOL!" A familiar feminine voice out stand the loud music making me snap my head to her direction. "You're here! Finally!"

I hugged her tightly; I missed her

"Let's go to somewhere quiet" She suggested and I nodded immediately

That's what I needed right now, peace

"How have you been girl? You haven't called since forever" She locked the door behind her; thank God our room was quite sound proof. The noise sort of died down a bit

"I've been busy with work, super stressed out" I replied while letting out my sigh of tiredness

"I can see that." She patted my back "Is everything going well?"

"Sort of. How about you? Have plans already?"

"Well since I'll be graduating next week I'm thinking of auditioning for an entertainment"

"Already? I thought you wanted to own a bakery? What happened?"

"My cousin is being such a kid; he's been teasing me about him owning his parents hospital at a very young age and I'm getting fed up."

"Your cousin that you told me had an accident?"

"Yeah that's him alright. We're on the same age but, he doesn't respect me" She pouted.

"I thought he had an older brother?" I'm surprisingly interested in this conversation.

"His brother went missing after their parents died which caused him to stop studying to focus on the business."

"He could run the hospital even if he's not graduated?" I got my jaw opened. I didn't know that was possible

"He's on age and he's still learning things and he's good at anything" She smug "I invited him over maybe you should meet him before you go"

"I don't know HyeMi..I didn't plan on staying long.." I scratched the back of my nape

Her expression died "you left me here alone without a roommate for 2 school years and you're gonna leave already?" She pouted

I feel bad but, I'll feel more bad if I stay longer....

"I think I could stay for another hour" Pulling out the best forced smile just to cheer up the birthday girl.

I always end up giving my own benefit up...

I'm highly uncomfortable with this party; an hour felt like a century and here I am sitting near the door feeling like opening it and leave this steamy room

"HYEMI!!" a muffled voice entered my senses with several loud knocks

somebody is at the door. What should I do? Should I open it? But, It's HyeMi's dorm; it's not mine now.

I stood up immediately and held my breath as I squeeze myself through the crowd and to the girl who is very busy accepting gifts at the other end of the room; clueless about the angry person at her doorstep

"Yah HyeMi! Someone is at the door; he sounded pretty angry"

She almost choke on her punch "that must be him! Come with me!"

Him who? Her boyfriend? Friend? Or her cousin?

She dragged me again through the crowd which made me really suffocated

She quickly opened the door but, the loud knocks were gone. I bet he left

"YAH! TURN DOWN THE MUSIC A BIT SO YOU COULD HEAR YOUR DOOR!"
The guy was sitting and had his back facing the door.

He stood up and fixed his clothes. "Here your 18 roses. I told you it will all come from me" He raised his head up making us see his smiling face which caused my heart to stop.

A gasp escaped my lips making his eyes divert to me and his face went completely blank.
