CHAPTER XX: 20th Street Bakeshop

"These past days are really stressing me" I lied down the sofa embracing my day off. "emotionally"

"You have the guts to say that" HaeNa complained while struggling to bring the boxes down from her room

"I'm tired emotionally AND physically"

Her state is making me laugh "yah! It's not good to degrade people's problem"

"So, what's troubling you?" She sitted beside me "is it a boy?"

"Yes infact 2 of them!" I frustratingly sighed "how come men can be such a headache?!"

"Men needs understanding such as much as women girl! Have some patience"

"Believe me, patience is not the thing that I need. It's understanding because all they gave me is confusion" I sitted up to emphasize my emotions more.

"I didn't know you have much trouble dealing with love" HaeNa smirked at me

"I'm a psychiatri-"

I was cut off by the sudden vibration that I felt by my bottom

Can my heart not flutter everytime he calls surprisingly?

I hurried to my room because HaeNa bullying me while the call is on going is the last thing I want

"Hi Mr. Je- I mean Jungkook"

"Hey EunByeol, are you free tonight?" His sweet voice cooed

"Of course its my day off" I giggled

WHATS WITH THE SUDDEN GIRLY STYLE EUNBYEOL?

"Do you wanna go somewhere with me? I mean, wanna go out?" The shyness in his voice sounds very clear. Its cute tho

"Where will we go?"

"It's a secret. Be ready in an hour, I'll come pick you up"

"Ready?" He said as I step foot outside and I shyly nodded

"You're pretty as usual" He smiled his bunny smile making my cheeks tinted. "Shall we?"

I was texting HaeNa as we started to go to the venue. Thanking her for making me look human in such a short notice. The gold rubber shoes, the flowy white dress she lend me fits me so perfectly.

"Updating your boyfriend?" He peeped at my phone as we stopped at the stop light

"Boyfriend? What is that?" I asked and we laughed together "anyways, where are we going?"

"I planned it already no need to worry" He smirked and drive off

But, unplanned things are the best...

"Ok, let's go" I cheered but, how can I put this? It's not that genuine...

"Eunbyeol..." A voice entered my senses "wake up we're here"

I opened my eyes and the clouded sky welcomed my sight but, it's not the Busan sky I remembered. I became alerted and looked around.

This is not Busan.....
This is.....

"Surprise!" He cheered "Do you like
it?"

We're at Bukhansan National Park....
We're in Seoul....

And this place, this exact place... Is the last place I want to be at...

"I always wanted to go here" He admired the mountain in front of us

But not me jungkook...not me...

"Hey are you ok?" He put his hand on my shoulder

"I uh" The memories came flowing to my mind like a river, the bad memories that I wanted to forget

"I'm fine"

Despite the emotional breakdown that Im feeling inside..I managed to lie

"Good!" He removed his seatbealt and happily went out his car "let's go" He opened my side of the car and let me out

My legs were wobbly.. I was in the verge of running off.. But I took a look at his face where true happiness was seen

How can I not lie? I'm not the kind of person to crash somebody's happiness for my own... Even if it was hard for me, even if it meant that I'll suffer

I was always willing to sacrifice...

He hold my hand and dragged me towards a store "Let's get something to eat first before we go up"

I looked ahead of us looking at the place we will go and at the sight of where we will enter made me more weak than I am right now....

"Welcome to 20th street bakeshop"
