CHAPTER XXV: December 25th at 12:00 AM

"HaeNa where are you?" I asked

"I'm on my way to have Christmas eve of course" She replied making me feel more down "where are you? Its seems quiet there"

"Im at the garden having some fresh air" I lied...again "it was very intense inside"

I tried my best to laugh.. And not to cry

"You wanna come with me? I can wait for you here at the terminal" Her offer seems so inviting but, its not my thing to crash into somebody's family time.

And besides all they're gonna talk to me about is my families past... And I'm so not up to that.
I've had enough when we were at Bukhansan

"Nah, I'm having so much fun here I dont wanna miss it" I chuckled

Hoping she doesn't notice the bitterness in my tone

"I'm starting to feel jealous because of JungKook" I can see her pouty lips "I need to go now, the bus is here. You sure you don't wanna come?"

I want to...but, I just prefer not to

"I'm fine. Keep safe. Merry Christmas"

"You too" And she hung up

I sighed, feeling colder because of how my Christmas eve had become....

I kept walking not knowing where to go.
The streets seems to imitate my feelings, the roads were lonely and cold....

Without me knowing I reached the ward.

Why am I here?

I was about to turn around when I had an idea

"What if he's feeling lonely too? What if he also wants someone to be with tonight?"

My mind was filled with what ifs...
Which are mostly things that I feel at the moment

I quickly stopped by the café near the ward and got some hot choco and pastries enough to fill both of our stomachs.

"Oh Ms. Lee? I thought you were on a leave?" The nurse on the reception desk were surprised to see me

"Plans went off, I'll just be working" I quickly went on the elevator to go to his room

"What if his NaNa is there?" The thought suddenly made me halt my steps just when I was already in front of his door step

"I'll just give this to them then"

I opened the door revealing a more...dark...and cold room...

"He's not here..." I put down the things I've brought down on the table "I just wish he drinks the hot choco well, it's probably cold when he sees it"

Looking at my watch it says it's already December 25th at exactly 12:00 A.M

"Merry Christmas...."

I was about to head out when a figure blocked my way.
