Amelie POV

We all got into cars and went to the meal and after party. I was in a car with my Dad's and I was so happy and so were they. "Congrats guys! I love you," I smiled hugging them and they smiled brightly at each other then me. "I just wanna say thanks," I say and they looked at me confused, "Ever since I got into that orphanage I watched your videos and they made me smile and think that I have a purpose in this shitty world. You saved my life. Then the day you guys adopted me I was my true self. From the day I left till now you will always be my inspirations and I can't thank you enough," I smile awkwardly at them and they hug me tightly. "I love you Mimi," Dad said looking into my teary eyes. 

We was 10 minutes away and Dad looked at my feet. "Amelie. Why are you wearing trainers? I thought Zoe, Mariza and Louise brought you heels?," I laugh and reply with "You are lucky I am in a dress!," I laugh looking at myself. "I really don't look good in a dress. It doesn't fit in my aesthetic. Only black skinny jeans, band shirts, hoodies and pastel stuff," I giggle. We pull up to the party place and I walk into the toilets. I get changed into black skinny jeans and a white shirt. I walk out and stand at the back of the room whilst Dan and Phil are at the front talking. Phil sees me and motions me over causing everyone to stare so I walk over.   

"Like I said before thank you for celebrating this with us and all that shi-," Dan says until Phil interrupts, "Daniel! Children!," Everyone laughs as Dan looks at me. "Amelie? Why are you not in your dress?," "Cause like I said in the car it doesn't fit my aesthetic! I also look to girly," I giggle as we walk over to seats. I sit next to Dan and Phil sit next to Dan.

~TIME SKIP TILL THE PARTY~

I didn't tell my Dad's this but I was singing for their first dance. I was singing Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran. The DJ came over to me and nodded and I stood behind the stand. "Time for the first dance!," He said looking at me, "Sung by Amelie Lester!," They looked at me in shock as I nodded. They looked teary as I took the microphone. I was going to sing and do a speech at the end just like Zoe said I should because she was the one that said I should. I nod at the man and he starts the music. My Dad's go to the floor and I start to sing.

When your legs don't work like they used to before

Dan POV

Amelie started to sing and I looked at Phil. "Lion we can't dance!," I whispered in his ear as we just swayed in time to Amelie. "I do now follow my steps," Phil said looking into my eyes and I nodded. Amelie was singing her heart out and she sounded so beautiful. Phil had tears falling down his face and I wiped them away just like he did earlier. "I love you,"

Amelie POV

Alex POV

I looked at Amelie. My amazing girlfriend, belting her heart out on stage, was singing at her parents wedding. I am so proud of her. It does show that dreams can happen. She was stuck in an orphanage, was mute, had depression, cut and now looked at her. Singing at her once idols and now Dads wedding. She looked at me and smiled. My heart skipped a beat as I smiled like an idiot. Gosh I love her

I took a breath at the end and heard a huge around of applause. I bowed awkwardly and laughed. I then started the speech me and Zoe had gone through millions and millions of times. "So hi! As you probably may know I am Amelie Lester, Dan and Phil's adopted daughter. I got adopted by them around 6 months ago and it has been the best moments of my life. At the orphanage I looked up to them. They made me happy, they got me out of my bad state of mind, they make me smile and laugh after days, weeks or maybe years of not laughing. They were and still are my idols. Everyday I wake up and remember ever since them two idiots adopted me that I had a reason to get up even though Dan wakes me up with rude wake up calls! But really I love them both more then I can ever explain and all I can say is congrats guys! I love you," I smiled at them and I felt warm, wet stuff pour down my cheeks. 

My Dad's also had tears dripping down my face until Dan said a comment of, "Well Amelie you wake me up to with either hello internet or the getting out of bed speech! All I do is tickle you and carry you out of bed!," Everyone was laughing at that point. I walked of stage and they squeezed me so hard. 

"Thank you for that Mimi," Dad said as I looked up at him. "I love you," I smiled at them and they replied with "We love you too,"

The party had ended and I was going to Zoe and Alfie's house to leave the two alone. Alfie walked over to me and said we was going. I ran over to my Dad's and said bye and I walked to their car. I climbed into the back and we drove down to there place which was only twenty minutes away. When we got back I literally fell onto the sofa and slept on Zoe's shoulder.

Dan POV

We got home from the party and I climbed into bed. Phil smirked at me and we had lots of fun and something we hadn't done in a while. ;D

OKAYYYYYYY....... I AM NOT GETTING INTO FUCKING SMUT. I FEEL SO AWKWARD WHILST WRITING IT OOF. XD I can if you really want though because you are my readers ;)
