two weeks.

two weeks since yoongi had found jeongguk. and he still didn't tell jimin. for the past two weeks, yoongi had overhead jimin talking to various coworkers about how sweet jeongguk was. how much he loved him.

but jimin had no idea that every time jeongguk said "i love you" to him, it was a complete lie.

thats what hurt yoongi. was that he was letting somebody hurt jimin, over and over again. and as it's building up, it might just kill jimin.

why was yoongi so stupid? he could have jimin, right now, if he would just show jimin the camera footage. jimin wouldn't have to be lied to.

but for some reason he just let it be. he let jimin be happy, lies or not. he gave jeongguk one last chance.

big mistake.

"so.. how have you and jeongguk been since you found out about him and jimin?" yoongi asked hoseok. he was seated in the younger's office.

"we're still hooking up," hoseok took a bite of the sushi order he had picked up.

"what?" yoongi asked, leaning forward in his seat.

"yeah, he told me him and jimin broke up so he just wanted to hook up. i wouldn't do that to jimin," hoseok says. yoongi groaned in frustration.

"is taehyung in hyuna's office?" yoongi asked, standing up. hoseok nodded.

yoongi began to make his way towards hyuna's office.

that could mean he was still messing with taehyung. if he was, this was a sign to finally tell jimin and seperate the two for good.

yoongi stopped in his tracks. was he sabotaging a relationship?

he had to, jimin deserved to know. he couldn't let jeongguk lie to jimin.

but was it really his place?

it had to be.

he continued, and then when he reached hyuna's office, he sighed. taehyung was in there, as was hyuna.

"are you still hooking up with jeongguk?" yoongi asked, closing the door behind him.

"uhh.. yeah? he said him and jimin weren't dating anymore so I had nothing to worry about," taehyung turned to him.

"fuck," yoongi said.

"what?" taehyung asked.

"he's still dating jimin!" yoongi said. now hyuna was engaged in the conversation.

"yoongi, you can't just spring this on him. he'll freak out," hyuna said.

"but i have to tell him! it'll break his heart even more if we wait any longer," yoongi pleaded.

"yoongi, im telling you, leave it alone," hyuna said lowly. yoongi sighed. "okay, fine. for now," he said. and then he left.

how long was he supposed to wait before telling jimin? did he tell him when jimin felt their relationship was at a highpoint, or when he felt it was at its low?

he could only wait to see if their was a right time.

he made his way back to his office, where jimin had returned from his lunch break. jimin hadn't even spared a glance at yoongi.

"why do you even still work for me, jimin? jeongguk said you hated me," yoongi said suddenly. he couldn't deal with jimin hating him anymore, or sending him hateful glares.

"when did you talk to jeongguk?" jimin asked. yoongi bit his lip.

how could jimin not have noticed the hickies taehyung left on jeongguk's already tattered neck?

"he came to see taehyung briefly. i guess they're friends. but if you hate me, then quiet," yoongi didn't mean that.

"maybe i will," jimin said quietly. his eyes seemed to burn straight through yoongi.

"wait.." yoongi was lost at this point. everything was so god damn confusing.

"what, yoongi? are you gonna try to get me to leave the love of my life again? because if you are, i might a well have another lunch break," jimin muttered.

"no, jimin. i just want to say im sorry," yoongi said softly. jimins gaze softened.

"what?" jimin expected yoongi to blow up on him, to try to get him to leave jeongguk again.

"im sorry," yoongi repeated.

"for what?" why did he ask that? if he was so mad, shouldn't he know the answer?

"for trying to get you to leave jeongguk. im sorry. you deserve to be happy, with whoever. it isn't my job to decide who you should trust," yoongi said. he could barely look at jimin.

"i.." jimin's eyes flicked back and forth, and he licked his lips.

jimin was so beautiful. how could the flicker of his eyes, the pressing of his lips, the blinking, all be so pretty?

"it's okay, yoongi. i don't know why im mad. i guess it's just that what you wanted wasn't what i wanted," he said, "and i appreciate that you were just trying to help," he finished. yoongi smiled shortly.

"is now a bad time to tell you i agreed?" jimin asked quietly. yoongis eyebrows furrowed.

"to what?" he asked. it couldn't be what he thought it was.

"i'm gonna let him.. take my virginity," he said. why did jimin sound so ashamed? if he was so sure to lose it, why did he sound so afraid?

"jimin.." it was now or never.

"he said he would make sure it was good for my first time," jimin explained.

"jimin, jeongguk is.." this was going to hurt jimin so bad.

"are you sure? you sound scared," yoongi couldnt do it.

"im sure. i want it to be him," jimin nodded.

"jimin, this is a big thing to you. don't do it until you're sure you're-"

"yoongi, i am. stop changing my mind."
