Oct 13, Ps 53

33 6 6

I'll only do the psalm today as I am very tired again. I didn't give myself enough time to fully recuperate from my lung infection, so now I am relapsing. It's so hard to find the right balance, you need rest to heal, but if I rest to much I feel lazy!

Psalm 53:1-6 KJV
[1] The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.
Makes me think of Atheists.

[2] God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.

[3] Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

[4] Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God.

[5] There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them.

[6] Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

Dear Heavenly Father, I've said this before and I'll say it again. You give and take away, You gave me health for a few days and now You have taken it again, and yet I will still praise You. Thank you for the time I've had with good health, and thank you for the times that bad health has brought me closer to You. Father please show everyone in my prayer journal that the trials You give them, are to bring them closer to You. Please comfort those who need comforting, and admonish those who need admonishing, but most of all, please keep them close to You, in Jesus's name, Amen
