Nov 6, Ps 60

Before we start, something I want say. We are to focus mainly on God, He is to be the centre of our lives, and we are to live to do His will. I have been struggling with that lately, many times I've found myself thinking about my crush instead of God. Everywhere, even in church! I stare at him instead of pastor when he is preaching. Last night I texted my friend about my crush for so long I almost didn't do my devotions! Idk what to do. Do you have any advice? I definitely need to pray about more, but even then when I am praying about my crush, my mind often starts wandering to him instead of focusing on Him.

Psalm 60:1-12 KJV
[1] O God, thou hast cast us off, thou hast scattered us, thou hast been displeased; O turn thyself to us again.

[2] Thou hast made the earth to tremble; thou hast broken it: heal the breaches thereof; for it shaketh.

[3] Thou hast shewed thy people hard things: thou hast made us to drink the wine of astonishment.

[4] Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah.

[5] That thy beloved may be delivered; save with thy right hand, and hear me.

[6] God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.

[7] Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;

[8] Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe: Philistia, triumph thou because of me.

[9] Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?

[10] Wilt not thou, O God, which hadst cast us off? and thou, O God, which didst not go out with our armies?

[11] Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.
Man's help is useless, but God will tread down our enemies!

[12] Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for everything You have done for us. Thank you especially for healing Mrs. VV and letting my pastor stay here instead of go to PEI. Please bless churches in need of pastors, with faithful pastors. Father, we humans fall into sin so easily. Many times our pride and ignorance keeps us from admitting sin, there is a multitude of sins I have not confessed to You. Father please forgive those sins and please keep me from sinning. You know that I have been struggling with thinking about my crush way more than I think about You. Father please give me grace to get my priorities straight. But if it is Your will, please let me serve You with my crush. Father please bless and keep everyone in my prayer journal, in Jesus's name, Amen
