Hours Later
" ma'am wake up we made it to texas " a lady said shaking me awake. " oh ok thank you " i said standing up. I walked off the plane and got my suitcase. I was about to walk out when i felt my phone ringing so i took it out of my pocket and saw that brandon was calling me so i answered.
Brandon: good morning beautiful

Brandon: did you land
Evelyn: yea i just got off of the plane

Evelyn: umm i'm gonna show up to his house to surprise my brother and hopefully he will let me stay there but if not i can just get a room or crash with an old friend

I put my phone back into my pocket and got into my uber. About 30 minutes later we finally got to my dad's house. I got out of the car and grabbed all of my things and walked to the front door. I took a deep breath and knocked on the door. A couple minutes passed by and finally the door swung open. " evelyn " my dad said. " dad " i said. We hugged and i walked in. " what are you doing here " he asked. " i came to visit dylan " i said. " good he misses you so much " he said. " where is he " i asked. " well it's only 10 here so he's still in school " he said. " well there's just alot going on at home so i came as like a vacation and to visit you guys " i said. " oh ok do you want to talk about it " he asked. " one day i was at school and i kept on getting messages from people from the school here telling me they are so sorry and asking how blind i was " i said. " oh wow " he said. " yea but i'm over it " i said. " oh ok well we are here " my dad said. " wait he changed schools " i asked. " yea he did " he said. " wait why " i asked getting out of the car. My dad locked the car and we started walking up to the front. " umm he wanted too " he lied. " oh ok " i said. We walked in and my dad walked up to the front desk while i sat down in a chair taking out my phone. I opened my messages and texted brandon.

I put my phone down and saw him walking threw the door. " dad why am i leaving early " dylan asked. " because someone is here to see you " my dad said. I stood up and smiled waving at him. " evelyn " dylan said shocked. " hey buddy " i said squatting down. He ran into my arms and i picked him up. " ready to go " my dad asked. " yea come on " i said walking out. A little bit about my brother is that he's in the 1st grade and he's my everything i wouldn't be around if it weren't for him. We went out the whole day and spent the whole day together. " how long are you here for " my dad asked me. " for about a week " i said. It was late so when we got back i sat down on the couch. " hey dad can i crash here " i asked. " of course " he said. " thanks dad " i said hugging him. " yea let me show you to your room " he said. " ok " i said. I picked dylan up and we all walked upstairs. They showed me my room and it was right next to dylan's room. " evelyn come see my room " dylan said. " ok " i said. We walked into his room and he showed me around then we played after.
