Island of Darkness

(Y/N)'s POV

Everyone was in the control room. I was sitting next to Lloyd on his right as Misako unrolled a scroll on the other side of him. 

Misako: The scroll says there is a hidden temple on the island. If you find it, it will give the ninja pure elemental powers, powers that can destroy the indestructible army. 

Cole: So you're saying we get to fight? Ooh! I've got happy feet. 

Misako: And you two, here it is written: "For once the Green and Yellow Ninja finds the instrument of peace, they will strike it and know the power of the Ultimate Spinjitsu Master for the Green Ninja but somehow the Yellow Ninja is left out."

Lloyd: Ultimate Spinjitsu Master?

Misako: It means that you will be able to invoke the power of the Golden Dragon, an ancient fighting style only practiced by the first Spinjitsu Master.

The guys mouths were agape in awe, looking at us. Lloyd smirked  and laughed proudly.

Lloyd: Jealous?

Kai: Wait a minute. This all sounds too good to be true. What's the catch and why is teh Yellow Ninja not mentioned as often?

Sensei: The catch is, the Temple could be anywhere on the island, and all we have is this. 

Misako: We also have no idea, why the Yellow Ninja isn't mentioned here. I find that strangely odd but we need to focus on this first. 

Sensei pulled out a medallion, which Zane's dad grabbed.

Zane's Dad: A medallion. It's like a compass. When the three holes match up, the medallion will reveal where the temple is hidden. 

Jay: Uh, how'd you know that?

Zane's Dad: Oh, I did a lot of reading in my spare time. Adventure stories were my favorite. 

Zane grabbed the medallion.

Zane: Then what are we waiting for?

Everyone stood up but when Lloyd and I did. Sensei place his hands on our shoulders. 

Sensei: Not you two. 

Lloyd: Oh, seriously? Are we still doing this?

Misako: Wu is right. If you were to come across your father, it could prematurely start the final battle. We need to be at full strength before we take any risks. 

Jay laughed behind us. 

Jay: Jealous?

Lloyd scoffed, facing the group. I rolled my eyes, giggling a little. Lloyd slightly nudged me with his elbow. 

Zane's Dad: Well, I could use some help around the shop. We should get working on vehicles that might help give us a fighting chance. 

Sensei: Remember, Garmadon doesn't know we're on the island. It is imperative that you stay out of sight. 

Jay: Of course, Sensei. Don't worry. Have you ever known us to veer from a plan, huh?

We gave them deadpanned looks. I had my arms crossed. 

All: Ninja...

Me: Shh! Are you trying to get us caught?

All: go.

3rd POV

On the camp within the mine ground, Lord Garmadon was in the tent with the general when a soldier came running in, holding a box. He spoke in the foreign language to the general.
