Painfully in Love

Kian's POV

All I remember is lights flashing, Melissa tear stricken face staring down at me until they take me away.

"Don't leave me." she says as i go through the doors. I didn't really understand what she ment. Of course I had to leave I was going though surgery! Then I understand, she didn't mean don't leave, she ment don't die.

Then blackness.

Melissa's POV

I have been outside his room for the past week. or three weeks? I don't know, I haven't really been keeping track lately. But still a long time.

Everytime a doctor came out I would always beg to see Kian, they would go with the two answers of: "I'm sorry, but he has to sleep." or "I'm sorry, but your not family." Your sorry my butt.

As I splay out across the waiting chairs infront of Kian's room a nurse comes out. I immediately jump up.

"Can I please see my boyfriend?" I ask almost on my knees.

"Boyfriend?" I nod. "Well, only family is supposed to see him, but what can I say, I'm a sucker for love!" She quickly leads me in when she sees no one else around.

"Kian?"

"Melissa!" I see his leg in the air and some wires attached to him.

"I'm sorry I couldn't come in sooner, they wouldn't let me and-," I start but Kian pulls me in for a hug.

"It's okay, as long as your here now." He can be so sweet sometimes!

I lean in and kiss him, but my elbow brushes past his ribs making him winch. "Are you okay?!" I ask.

"He has a bruised liver, Honey." The nurses that lead me in says. I kinda forgot she was here.

"No its not that, I'm just painfully in love with you."
