Sunshine

"NOOOOOO!" Steve screamed falling to his knees beside Bucky

Bucky had a bullet hole right next to his heart. He was bleeding heavily. It barely looked as if he was breathing.

"It's okay my little moon," Bucky said in muttered breathing heavily.

"You can't leave me! Not again, because this will be permanent!" Steve said grabbing Bucky's body and pulling him onto his knees. Steve looked away not being able to look at the blood of his love.

"Look at me, my little moon," Bucky murmured in a coo. Steve looked at Bucky's face. He looked as if he was in so much pain. Bucky's eyes then closed.

"HELP! SOMEONE HELP ME!" Steve yelled thinking Bucky was gone.

"It's okay my little moon. I'm still here. Don't worry."

"It's not okay Buck. You're dying."

"Then I want you to do two things for me," Bucky said coughing up a little blood

"Anything," Steve said kissing Bucky's forehead.

"Promise me that you will live for me when I'm gone," before Bucky could say the second thing Steve interrupted him.

"How can I live without my sunshine. Without my sun how can I be a moon and still shine?" Steve said breaking down, even more, holding Bucky closer to his chest.

"I believe in you. Okay? Now my second thing is-- " Bucky started choking on his blood. Steve patted him on the back and helped him be able to breathe the slightest bit again. " the second thing is don't try to follow me. I can't let you."

"Okay my little sunshine," Steve said holding Bucky in a light, yet loving embrace.

"I love you, Stevie."

"I love you too, Buck" Steve whispered. Next Steve did the only thing he could think of with his little sunshine leaving him.

"The other night, dear, as I lay sleeping

I dreamed I held you in my arms

But when I awoke, dear, I was mistaken

And I hung my head and I cried

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine

You make me happy when skies are grey

You'll never know, dear, how much I love you

Please don't take my sunshine away," Steve sang as he mumbled softly

"I'll always love you and make you happy

If you will only say the same

But if you leave me to love another

You'll regret it all some day

You told me once, dear, you really loved me

And no one else could come between

You'll never know dear, how much I love you" Bucky cut Steve off with a kiss.

Then his body fell into Steve's arms.

Lifeless

"Please don't take my sunshine away"

A/N: I told you I'd do two. I'm sorry this is a little sad and that it's also a sad cliche but you know what? It's whatever.  Also, you all hopefully know the song "You Are My Sunshine" which this is based on. The next story will be on Christmas Eve and it will also be Christmas themed and then on Christmas, there will be another Christmas themed one and a shout out.

Extra A/n: Does anyone know how to yeet Wattpad out a window? I write these on my computer and also publish them there, but sometimes when I press publish, it doesn't actually publish and I have to go to my phone and do it there. Well, I didn't have to do that for my last few stories so I didn't check this time and it didn't publish. Didn't realize till now! SO SORRY! <3
