If the shock Claire felt was the type to freeze her body, she couldn't imagine what was going through Adrian's head.
"How do you know who she is?" Claire asked, feeling the atmosphere change drastically from the urgent and anger-filled one before.
"Who? Emil-"
"Don't say her name!" Adrian gritted out, taking a step towards Jerry.
"Relax hero boy, I wasn't involved in anything that happened with her." Jerry said, enjoying the rage seething out of Adrian. "I always saw Pat and his pals at the bar and we got talking. He'd keep me updated on what he was doing with your sister. He even told me when he realized the girl was gonna go f***ing kill herself, but he didn't show no sign of stopping." Giving a small smirk, he continued, "you know kid, you owe me quite a lot."
Confused and curious, Adrian raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"
"Tell you this, I tell you the story and you leave us, calmly, no fuss."
