"You heard the girl was trying to kill herself and did nothing about it?" Diana asked, her voice reminding Jerry that she was still here.
"You could've prevented her death." Adrian said, in a low tone.
"I got Pat put away for good and you're not even appreciatin' it?" Jerry rolled his eyes. "Now, get lost, both of you, we had a deal."
"Not me, Jerry." Diana said, moving towards a shaken Claire. Diana pulled Claire behind her, ready to face whatever it was Jerry was going to throw at them.
He raised his fist, ready to hit Diana, but Adrian grabbed onto the fist and pulled it down.
"Or me." Adrian said, sounding beyond angry. "I agreed to leave calmly, but I didn't say I'd leave without Claire."
