Once he was back at the tower, Steve stormed down the corridor to his room. He'd been trying to make sense of everything the whole way back to the tower, but nothing could calm him down.

He'd trusted her, and she'd gone and done this. After everything Loki had done in New York, after all the pain he had caused, how could Hannah possibly think that this was something she should keep from them, from him?

Steve went over to his desk before experiencing a fit of rage and dragging his arm along the desk, knocking everything off it in the process.
"AGHHHHHH!" Steve screamed out in pain as a photo frame smashed when his hand hit it and shards of glass cut across his skin.

Looking down at his hand, Steve stumbled over to the wall and slid down it, still clutching the wounded hand to his body. Tears came streaming down the soldier's face. These tears were unforgiving, and showed just how hurt Steve truly was.

He was in pain, from more than just his hand. He'd been falling in love not 1 hour earlier, before all that was ripped away from him all over again.

He'd been wrong to give himself permission to love again after all.
