Quartet - Barracuda

The void that they entered was just like all the other Levels. Silence. Not a single noise. You could almost hear a pin drop. But as the four were waiting for something to happen, they saw a figure. A figure floating in the air. It was of a woman, telling from the silhouette, although they can't make out specific features Other than her clothing and short pink hair. Strange thing is, she was wrapped in bandages, like a mummy, which all faded from Black to Pink. She had two objects in her hands, that looked like an Egyptian crook and flail, the things you see Pharaohs holding. The design on her headphones, a triangle split into three parts horizontally, immediately stood out to Lumina.

Then the music started.

Almost from nowhere, a shockwave echoed around her, carrying a wave of Corrupted dots, that the quartet barely managed to dodge. Following that, their eyes widened and a look of dread spread across their faces as they saw three gigantic, massive black and pink serpents slither towards them, twisting and turning at extreme angles like the stride of a seductress. Not to mention the fact that Quin, the tallest, was only as big as the Serpent's heads.

Hell, the Unpredictability of the snakes was what made the so dangerous, they slithered at such extreme angles it was hard to predict their next moves.

That was the least of their worries, however, as all of a sudden another shockwave hit, followed by four other snakes, equally large. If the shockwave didn't make them lose a limb, the snakes that followed definitely did.

Suddenly, the woman looked up, but before they could fully take in her face, she raised one of the objects in her hand - the flail, and three walls wreathed her, all in a triangle formation, obscuring her from view.

Without warning, those walls started launching themselves away from the woman, expanding in size and ready to mercilessly crush anyone in its path. That including the Four Teenagers that stood in their path.

Quin and Lumina just decided to dash past them, like through a wall, but all that got for them was a limb lost from running into a snake.

When walls were lost, more were there to take its place, as they steadily launched away from her like tanks.

"THE GAPS!" Pi yelled, finally finding a safe spot. The gaps between walls were the only safe haven, they just had to worry about the unpredictable snakes, which they can just simply dash past. Easy, right?

Wrong.

Of course, their opponent, whoever she may be, was not that dull, as after a few more Walls were launched, they switched positions, this time their safe places being right in the view of the walls. Another few limbs were lost, to both he walls and the snakes that ambushed them.

"HOW ARE WE STILL ALIVE??? THAT WAS FOUR HITS!" Lumina screamed as she stared at herself. Her whole entire left arm, her right hand and part of her torso was missing.

'I DON'T KNOW?' Quin yelled back.

Suddenly, the walls disappeared, and they finally got a good look at the woman's face.

A wave of horror swept across Lumina's face as all colour drained in an intense despair.
