He was acting like a total stereotype of a nigga.
He wouldn't even talk to his family in Korean, let alone his grandmother who didn't know a lick of English. Or whatever English your boyfriend was speaking.
Your mom shrugged it off that it was a phase and when you spend a lot of time with someone, they start to become like you. But you wasn't even doing any of those things.
You knew you shouldn't have let him watch Friday.
You were waiting for him to come home to talk about it.
After five minutes of hearing his car park in the garage, he finally made it inside.
"Ayo, wassup shawty?" He walked in with a comb in his hand and his pants sagging so low it was touching the ground.
"Hey..", you mumbled back and continued to stare at him.
He closed the front door while looking at you with confusion. "What's wrong lil ma?"
"We need to talk..."
"Bout what boo?"
You stood up with complete frustration taking him back. "Stop. Just stop talking like that, for real."
"Talmin' like what?"
"Babe! Do you not see how you're acting?? You're not being yourself! You're being so weird!"
"What you mean baby girl?" He innocently asked. It was weird that he himself didn't feel himself changing.
"You're having an identity crisis! You're acting like you're black!"
