33. Misunderstandings

{ Eun Byul's P.O.V }

Scrunching my nose in annoyance, I jerked my head in the direction of the couch.

"Hey! When will you go home?"

Turning his head to me, he gulped down the popcorn in his mouth, "Why'd you ask that? So rude," turning his head back, Tae waved his hand in the air, "Study, Eun Bi, study. That's what suits you most. And for me, I'll go whenever I want."

Crumbling a paper of my notebook, I hissed under my breath, "That damn j***."

After telling his not so hearing worthy story about convincing Jimin on our way to my house, he found his way inside after saying things like, "Woah, Eun Bi, you don't sound like Eun Bi. Are you sure you're Eun Bi?"

Signing, I kept my best on acting like Eun Bi and ignoring him as much as I could. Fortunately, he wasn't in his best mood today because of Jungkook's departure and didn't pester me much so I let him stay and keep watching MY television.

Half an hour later of me using my phone from inside the notebook, I turned my head in the couch's direction where Taehyung was talking on his phone in a serious and worried manner. Not forgetting to mention that he even turned down the volume of the television.

I wasn't able to catch any word from his conversation except the last phrase, that being: "I'll be there."

Putting his phone back, he stood up and walked towards me, "Eun Bi?"

"What?" I said in my most annoyed tone as I shut my notebook and looked at him.

Suddenly, he grabbed my notebook.

"Hey! Give it back!" I said as I stood up and tried to reach the notebook which he had held high up.

"What? Your phone or your notebook?" he said, smirking at me.

Eyes widening in slight shock, I stood back, staring at his face blankly.

He knew I was using my phone?

"Here," he said, giving me my book and phone, "I'd love to stay more, but I have to leave now. So... See ya!" saying that, he gave me a pat on shoulder and a thumbs-up before running off towards the door, "Bye, Eunbi! If you talk to your sister then tell her to take care and I miss her! Bye!" with that said, he shut the door closed after walking out.

Sighing, I dragged my feet towards the couch before slumping on it, "He doesn't know when to quit," I said with a slight smile.

{ Next Day }

"Eu.. i..."

"Eun Bi..."

"LEE EUN BI, WAKE UP!"

"I didn't break it, I swear!" jerking my eyes open, I yelled as I looked around before realising that I was in class.

Man, at least me breaking mom's diamond necklace was just a dream.

Wait, does mom even have a diamond necklace?

"Can you please read aloud the next paragraph for us?" the teacher said, turning my attention to her. Looking at the board, I realized that it was history's lesson of which I didn't bring the book of.
