~Violetta's POV~

I pack everything into my purse as the final period ends of my school.

Fran catches me outside.

"Hey vilu, wanna come over to my house today?"

"Can't, my dad says he's getting me a new tutor"

"Oh okay well i'll text you later"

"Kay" I reply.

I wave goodbye and make my way to the door, until someone leans their hand on the wall blocking the doorway.

"Hey Again"

"Diego? Why are you still here?" I ask.

"We have to be here the whole first day, then we can leave at anytime we want after today..."

"Oh" I say. I try to go out under his arm but he lowers his hand and smirks.

"What are you doing?!" I ask.

"Not letting you go through" he smiles.

"Why?"

"Because I have to ask you something" he says stroking my cheek.

I slowly touch my hand to his and lower it away from my face.

"What? I don't have much time so don't waste it" I snap.

"Okay... So... I was wondering if I could take you out sometime?" He smiles.

"I don't think I can" I say sternly.

"Why?" He asks with a hurt tone in his voice.

"Listen, Diego" I sigh. "You're a nice, cool guy... But I just don't think now is the time for me to be dating you"

"Really? What's up?"

"I recently got out of a relationship so I'm just not ready to be dating anyone" I say.

"Oh..." Diego says. "So even if you were to be ready, does that mean you'd still go out with me?"

Ugh. He's so desperate... But in a cute way... No! What am I even saying? I can't think of him as 'cute'... He's so annoying...

I smirk. "Maybe, maybe not"

"Ok then" he smiles. "Some day" he says making a face as if he was fantasizing.

"Who knows" I say grinning. "Maybe some day" I joke.

I slip my way under his arm as he tries to catch me but I walk away too fast for him.
