Anxiety • part 2

"I'll never let you down." He said with a cheeky grin before kissing me again. "I would never." I looked down at him with a smile and he looked back at me.

"How did I ever get so lucky?" I asked softly, I let go of him with one hand and put the curl that was falling infront of his eyes back. I meant what I said, I didn't get it.

"I don't know what I would have done without you." He said and he sounded so happy and adorable. "There's no better feeling than waking up beside you and I can't wait untill winter when you'll finally let me cuddle you all night."

I laughed as he said that "You're just too hot in this LA heat. I'd melt if you would cuddle me all night."

"You know I also have airconditioning through the whole house and could just cool it down more?" He asked and I nodded

"I know you already turned it down for me because I was having a hard time adjusting to the heat at night. You'd be freezing if you turned it down even more."

"Yes but then I can cuddle you and you could keep me warm." He was just trying to figure out a way to be able to hold me while we slept. "I sleep better when I get to hold you."

"I know because you snore when you do. So I only sleep half as much." I was just trying to annoy him and it was definitely working.

"I'm very sorry." He said with a grin and I wasn't entirely sure if he was apologising for that or something else untill his legs somehow stopped working and he let himself fall in the water.

He was apologising in advance for pulling me down with him.

I let go of him and stood back on my feet quickly.

"You are so mean." I said as I looked at him and he was slowly walking away from me. He was in the water untill his shoulders in the deep end while he watched me with a grin. "I can't stand there, can I?"

"Pretty sure you can't." He replied but it didn't stop me, I walked to the deep end untill I couldn't anymore before swimming to him and getting on his back. "You just gave me full control again."

"I now realise how dumb this is. I wanted to push you down but I can't even stand here."

"I just have an idea but you'll have to give me a minute to get something." He said as he walked back to the less deep part. I nodded and got off his back as soon as I could stand again. He got out of the pool and walked inside.

I let myself float on my back and closed my eyes with a smile on my face. I love this.

"You get the pink one." Ashton said after a few minutes. I opened my eyes confused and Ashton was standing beside the pool with two water guns. I started laughing while I got on my feet again but I gladly accepted the challenge.

I filled the pink gun with pool water before getting out of the pool too.

"What are the rules?" I asked as I looked at him.

"No rules but you get 15 seconds to disappear." He warned me before counting down. I put it on a run and ran beside the house. The house had a rather large garden for the size of the house and many many hiding places between the trees.

When I looked back at the pool, Ashton was gone too.

When the 15 seconds were over, I walked to the front of the house. I kept an eye on behind me too and carefully looked around the corner as he probably went to the other side of the house. When I spotted him I started firing the gun at him and he squeeled in surprise which made me laugh before disappearing around the corner.

I started running back to the garden and went inbetween the trees as I heard him behind me, he was trying to hit me too but was failing badly. Running and shooting a water gun is not a good combination.
