"Samantha, your phone is going off." Nick said as he picked it from the table, "it's an unknown number."
"They'll have to leave a message so I can call them back." I said with a smile before turning back to Yazz to go over everything once again. We were rehearsing at the Capitol building and it was finally all coming together. I have to leave on my tour with Julia in 6 days but between her tour and mine I only have a week so the show for my tour had to be fully prepared too.
"It's the third time they're calling." Nick said and I got up a little annoyed before walking over to my phone and picking it up.
"Samantha, finally. I've been trying to call you." A male voice who I could recognise as Jason, my manager, quickly. "Have you see the sale on the tour? On your tour?"
"I'm busy with the tour rehearsals so I was a little busy. But I tweeted and posted about it shortly before the first tickets would go on sale. I haven't been able to check it yet. Why?"
"It's sold out. All of it. Every show was sold out within 15 minutes and London was sold out in 3 minutes. If you're up for it, we should discus adding more dates to the tour, more cities and some bigger venues." He said and I just let my phone slip out of my hand. I stood there, frozen and shocked.
I just sold out a tour.
"Sam, everything alright?" Yazz quickly asked as she got on her feet and started walking over. It took me a few seconds before realising I dropped my phone on the ground. I picked it back up from the ground and put it on speaker.
"Jason, can you please say what you just said again?" I asked while the rest of the band gathered around me all very curious to what was going on.
"The full tour just sold out within 15 minutes, London sold out in less than 5 minutes. People all over are complaining they didn't get tickets and asking for more shows to be added. So are you up for it?" He repeated and the joy on everyone in the band became so clear and I got so excited. "So what do you think?"
"I'll have to ask Sierra and the band too but I'm up for it. Sierra should be here in a few so I'll ask her." I replied before taking it off speaker again and putting the phone to my ear. I walked out of the room and I tried to calm down. I tried not to freak out. "Jason are you 100% serious?"
"I am as serious as I can be Samantha. You are the next big thing and everyone is talking about you. I already got some pieces in of your tour being discussed by European radio stations, I got 20 requests for radio interviews during the tour and social media is blowing up. Your name is trending world wide." He said all happy and happy tears started rolling down my cheeks.
"This is just a lot to take in." I said with a chuckle while I wiped away the tears and I could feel my phone buzzing non stop with texts while we talked. "But I will consider adding shows if it's all okay with Sierra and the band too. The only reason we just chose 10 is because we were afraid it wouldn't sell out."
"Everyone knew you were so talented here but nobody could have seen thisone coming. The ticket sale for Julia Michael's tour also went up rapidly after you were announced to be the opening act. People love you Samantha." He said and I could see Sierra further in the hallway and she was already jumping up and down and so excited.
"Sierra is here so I'll call you back later to discus this further."
"Alright, take your time to let it sink in. But don't forget to post something about it."
