I dedicate this chapter to all my readers. I think we should all 'blush' together 😊
Cal's POV
Georgiana's letter is burning a hole in my pocket.
One thing Rafe and I haven't done is complete the mating. We've made love, screwed, fucked each other but haven't marked each other. Both of us must have been subconsciously waiting to include Darric in our mating. Tonight, all of that changes. I need to, no correction, I must show both my mates that in this relationship, we are all equal, but I will have a slight edge.
I am glad we talked about the big issues out with Raven, bless her heart. I know she must have been shitting bricks in that room, but she held her own. I was impressed, to be honest.
We definitely will have obstacle and whatnots along the way. We will definitely piss each other and drive each other crazy. That's a given on any good and enduring relationship. But I strongly believe that if we all work at it, we will have a wonderful life together.
Now we are walking around the area we think is perfect to build our own house. The boys are walking around and going on about acres, view, access to roads etc. All that's on my mind is tonight. Usually, my real estate mind will be very much involved but I am so scatterbrained right now, I just give half-hearted answers to their questions.
"...I think we should think about a pool, other outdoor activities, and of course top-notch security. What do you think Callum?" Rafe asks.
"I'm sorry, what was that?" I tune back to their conversation.
"You've been out of it since you sneaked off to read the 'mystery' letter," Darric turns to me. "What's in it anyway?"
"Nothing major just some advice from a friend."
"So, what do you think of this area? I know it seems secluded, but I have a feeling it won't stay that way for long."
"First, we need an architect to design our home. Then we need a construction company and the only one I know, and trust is Alpha Salim's company. I will decorate our home, no one else. That being said, how long do you think all of this will take," I reply now back in the conversation.
"Keep in mind we will have to coordinate the building of the house and other outlying areas with Salim, I estimate maybe three to six months but if we convince Salim to fast-track it maybe three months?" Darric says.
"Okay, we are getting ahead of ourselves. First things first, do you both like this area?" Rafe asks us both.
"I like it. Cal what about your herbs?" Darric walks over to where I am checking the plants, sits down next to me.
"I like it too, Darric. The herbs here are perfect. And one thing, I want to learn to drive. I need to be able to get myself to and from places I need to go. And I want to take some self-defense classes. If we are going to be the only ones in the area for the foreseeable future, I want to protect myself and my family."
"Sounds good to me. I know the perfect person to teach you to drive," Rafe walks over to us and pulls me close.
"Who?"
"Jeffery. He is the most defensive driver I know. And he can teach you when you all get back."
"And I'll teach you some self-defense moves in between your driving lessons. Self-defense training was a major part of my Alpha training," Darric assures me.
"So, we all agree we will buy this mini city and build our home," I ask my mates.
"To the new home of the Klyne-Greys," Darric shouts.
