EXT. ALLEY - NIGHT
Dark Alley. Back of buildings. Graffiti, Boxes, Plywood.
Ember wakes up Surprised and drained.
YOUNG WOMAN
'What the -! she's on fire! Literally!'
OLD MAN
'She is burning the floor and wall!'
She opens her eyes and sees people around her staring while she is on fire.
She grabs her bag and runs off, setting some wood and walls on fire as the people follow her down the alley.
MIDDLE-AGED WOMAN
'We've seen your face; we're going to get you, you Alien!'
EMBER
(under her breath)
'Yeah right—in your dreams maybe.'
They stop chasing her. She finds a place to rest by a liquor store and cools off. Ember is breathing hard.
Ember pauses and glances around.
EMBER
'This looks like a good place to scout.'
