Evariste de Breteuil (OC): Fifth-year Gryffindor wizard and transfer from Beauxbatons. Evariste comes from the Greek name Ευαριστος (Euaristos) meaning "well pleasing". With light brown curls and easy-going smile, Evariste is a gentleman and a charmer. He is excited to know that there's a society in Hogwarts that's interested in doing something about Grindelwald ("nobody's been doing anything all this time!") He cajoled Eugenie, a fellow transferee from Beauxbatons, to introduce him to the members or heads of this society.
First Appearance: Chapter 23 ("La Société") and 24 ("The Best Laid Plans of Mice and Men I"). He appears again in Chapter 32 ("Hunts I").
As of the Mid-Second Arc: He considers Hermione as one of the most interesting witches of his acquaintance. His interest with her is more than friendly, as Chapter 32 can attest.
