Starting New

October 3rd, 1990!!!

It had been Prussia who wanted a party. 

Germany had just been fine and content with having his family back, plus the addition, but nope. His older brother just really wanted a party to celebrate the fall of the wall. 

And Ludwig had been expecting someone, such as Hungary or even Austria to protest, and tell Prussia a party was in no way needed.

But no. They were cool with it.

A quote from Austria, "After all we've been through as a family. Why not?"

But first here they were. At the U.N. meeting in West Germany- for now- for the reunification ceremony. 

Here's the thing though, Prussia didn't know that Germany was planning on making him East Germany. He knew his old empire country was gone, the people were there but the country itself was gone. So he thought the only reason he was still alive was because of his former citizens of Prussian blood.

That was kind of true. But Old Prussian citizens had also had children with many East Germans on the East side of the wall. So techinally Prussia had no reason to go, there was still Prussian in many people.

And to make it official, this is honestly was Germany wanted. He didn't need a party or anything. He just wanted this.

He just wanted to save his brother.

Hungary was fixing the collar of Austria's shirt. The Germanics plus her were outside in the hallway. Latvia was with his brothers. They were getting ready head inside the conference room.

Nations of the World, those who had wanted to come, were already there. Their bosses were there. 

Now everyone was waiting. For them.

Honestly, Germany was the only one who really needed to walk in as a grand entrance. But he wanted his family with him. He thought they all should walk out together, to show that they all had come out stronger than before.

"Keseseseses," Prussia laughed, "We should get going!! They're all waiting for the awesome me!!"

"No Gilbert," Switzerland couldn't help but shake his head. "They're waiting for Ludwig."

Germany hid his laugh, none of his family knew what he was planning to do. 

He couldn't wait. "Ja. We should go."

Hungary straightened out her dress, linked her arm with Austria's, Liechtenstein right by her side, Vash next to her. Prussia combed his fingers through his hair and smirked, as if it was his time to shine, and Germany straightened out his time, adjusted his collar and was done.

They were ready.

Let's do this.

Germany and Austria put their hands out and pushed opened the doors. And they all walked in.

It was like it was a dream.

There were cheers, clapping, loud whistles. The German Flag was hung everywhere.

Germany heard North and South America cheering loudly for him and couldn't help but laugh.

His family, all looked at him, giving him smiles. Prussia didn't care that this was a special occasion, he reached out and proudly ruffled his baby brother's hair.
