~ AN: THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH FOR 1K READS THAT'S AMAZING OMG! That's so amazing like really I cannot believe we actually got there.

OH AND THERE'S LESS THAN AN HOUR UNTIL GOOD GIRL MUSIC VIDEO COMES OUT AND OMG I AM FREAKING OUT LIKE HOLY SHIT! I know it's been leaked and all that but I haven't seen it and I'll wait for another 47 minutes because I'm a good girl (see what I did there? Funny huh? No? okay....)

Now onto the dedication of this one-shot, it's dedicated to @Mukesllamas because I love her very much and her instagram is literally perfect and yeah, ily babe! /M ~

“Everything alright over here?” Ashton can tell that the man standing in front of him doesn’t give a shit about whether it’s alright with him or not, he just wants Ashton out of there so they can close for the night and go home. But Ashton can’t do that, he still has half his pizza left and the others won’t be here for another five minutes so he has to make sure the place stays open.

“Oh yes, it’s very nice.” Ashton smiles up at the man, pretending he didn’t get the underlying “get the fuck out” in the man’s question. “great actually, this might actually be the best pizza I’ve ever had.” the man fakes a smile before turning around and walking back to where he came from and Ashton goes back to slowly eating the, actually pretty gross, pizza. It has no where near enough cheese for his liking.  He eats it anyway, knowing that if he doesn’t they’ll have a reason to kick him out.

The door opens five minutes later and Ashton is just about to stand up when he realises it isn’t Luke and Calum. No someone he’d normally love to meet, but not now, not with what’s about to go down. Michael, the boy who sits in the back of the classroom in Ashton’s math, history and biology class, waves to the people who’s cleaning up in the back as he walks in. He’s wearing a blue shirt that would have looked hideous on anyone else, it actually looks a lot like the red ones the employees at the pizza place wears, and a matching baseball cap so Ashton’s guessing he has a similar job that maybe he just got off?

“How’s it going Mikey? Give me a minute and I’ll have your order.” the man who came to talk to Ashton a few minutes earlier suddenly seems a lot happier and doesn’t seem to mind that he now have to spend at least two more minutes at work. “tell me, how was work? You sure you don’t want to work here instead?” Michael laughs and leans against the counter next to the cash register.

“You know you don’t need or can afford another employee, and my job’s fine. It’s pretty boring from time to time but at least I can read comic books you know? Wouldn’t have time to do that if I worked here now would I?” as much as Ashton loves listening to the otherwise very quiet boy talk he needs Michael to leave now. If he doesn’t he’ll still be here when the others arrives. But Michael makes no attempt to leave, he stands by the counter talking about something Ashton could have found very interesting if he weren’t so nervous. He would have loved to hear Michael tell the man about his day, about the people he saw and compic he read, but now all he can hear is the ticking of the clock on the wall, The door opens again and Ashton knows that this time it’s them, he doesn’t even have to look. Michael and the man are still too caught up in their conversation to notice the two newcomers and Ashton quietly stands up and walks over to them at the same time as he takes his jacket off, revealing a black hoodie. He pulls the hood up at the same time as he takes his place to the left of Luke, moving his hand back to pull out the gun he’s has hidden in his jeans.

“I’m extremely sorry to have to interrupt your date over there, but we’re gonna need your attention.” Luke’s voice is basically dripping with sarcasm but it has the wanted effect, Michael spins around and the man looks up, both’s eyes widening as they land on the three young men standing by the door. Said three men pulls out their guns as soon as they have the attention, aiming on one person each, Ashton makes sure to keep his face slightly turned down, to keep it in shadow, and he doesn’t dare to look at who’s aiming at Michael. He silently prays it’s Luke because Calum loves, he absolutely loves, pulling the trigger and if he’s the one with his gun at Michael the chances of the green haired boy getting out of this unharmed. “Come on, you know what to do. Empty the register and put it in this.” Luke throws a backpack on the floor right by Michael’s feet and when he doesn’t move Calum steps forward, waving the gun in his hand. Michael’s eyes widen even more and he slowly bends down to pick up the backpack, but the older man beats him to it and heads over to the register. Ashton keeps his attention on the third man, a tall, very skinny guy who hasn’t said a word since he arrived, and tries to keep an eye on Calum as well, knowing that the fact that it took Michael so long to do anything pissed him off and that he’s now looking for a reason to fire his gun.
