I look up into the stars, carefully placing myself on the edge of the balcony. The stars were shining bright as it was late in the night. Father usually wouldn't let me climb the edge so I always did this late during the night when father wasn't awake. I smiled looking at the night sky. It was quiet for a brief moment. Then I heard someone calling.
"Y/N! Y/N! What are you doing? Be careful!"
I look back and see father coming. I sigh as I take one last good look at the sky. Carefully coming down, I fall into his arms.
"I'm sorry father...I just wanted to see the sky...I'll be careful next time."
He sighed and held me close while carrying me back to my bed.
"I'm not angry at you. I just wanted to warn you that it's very dangerous to be on the edge."
I smile at him before closing my eyes and dozing off to sleep.
     "Goodnight, father."
