"Where are you?" Liam asked from the other line.

Napapikit ako at bumugtong hininga. Dumilat ako at nag-angat ng tingin nang makarinig ng kaluskos.

Eliron went near the switches where the remote is, and turned on the aircon. Nang humarap siya'y nagtama ang aming paningin.

He's looking at me darkly as he walked towards the teachers table. Humilig siya doon at pinag-krus ang braso. I looked away and shifted my seat.

"Hello?"

"Go on without me, may kailangan lang akong gawin," I said almost whispering every word.

"Huh? I thought we're going to talk about our vacation trip? Hinihintay na tayo ni Nicole sa restaurant,"

Nasapo ko ang aking noo. I forgot about that one! Napag-usapan nga pala namin nila Nic na ngayon pag-usapan ang pina-planong bakasyon magka-kaibigan.

"Mauna kana, susubukan kong humabol,"

He sighed from the other end. "Alright. Ikaw talaga, paalam mo mag restroom lang tapos..."

I texted Nic after the call. Pinaulanan niya naman ako ng tanong matapos kong ipaalam na baka hindi ako makasipot at si Liam lamang.

Nicole:

Why? I thought you don't have anything to do today?

Nicole:

My gosh! Zaylee! Let's just schedule this planning some other day. I don't think I can plan something out with that guy.

I sighed heavily. I wonder when the war between these two will end. Ni hindi ko nga alam kung ano ang pinag-simulan ng pag-aaway nila, and it started when we were still twelve years old!

Ako:

Papunta na si Liam diyan, Nic. Please, baka hindi na matuloy ang bakasyon natin kapag iusog pa natin ang pag pa-plano. Hahabol ako, promise!

Nicole:

Fine. Humabol ka! Ayokong maiwan kasama ang isang 'to.

"Who are you texting?"

Napatayo ako dahil sa gulat. I swallowed hard then slowly turned around.

Crouching a bit, Eliron was standing behind me as his eyes lifted to meet mine. He raised a brow. Nakapamulsa ang dalawang kamay, he straightened his back then glanced at my cellphone.

Sinimangutan ko siya bago ibalik ang tingin sa cellphone. I typed a quick reply to Nic just to assure her that I'll catch up to them.

Nanlaki ang mga mata ko ng walang kahirap-hirap na agawin ni Eliron sa akin ang cellphone ko. With widened eyes, I turned to him.

"Anong ginagawa mo?" nakasimangot kong tanong.

He smirked at me then glanced at my cellphone. Tumango siya habang tinitignan iyon.

I gritted my teeth. "Akin na!"

I stepped forward and tried to grabbed my cellphone from his hand. Inangat niya ang kaniyang kamay na may hawak ng cellphone ko. I glared at him, while he looked amused as his smirk grew wider.

I tip toed as I tried to reach my phone. I heard him chuckled making me more irritated. He's really enjoying teasing me. Nakakainis!

I took another step forward. Holding on to his shoulder for support, I tip toed once more to lift up myself more as I tried to reach for my cellphone.
