3Gun was back to work, lots to do
Arrange preview coverage at the casino for Rue
Either Buck or Brody would be enough
With Ronan to handle anything rough
Papers all ready on the girls and Wyler's men
Marshal Law can pick them up and then
that leaves the mysterious Leo Write
Raven's statement might give some insight
CG took him to brunch, he hadn't eaten a lot
But while they were talking, Denver was shot
So 3Gun decided to play a hunch
Find young Raven and have another brunch
We went to brunch, didn't want to hurry
Raven was tense, Tiger was a worry
3Gun told him what Rosetta had said
That he'd eaten well and was asleep in his bed
'Time to relax, have some food and chat
Find out what you've been up to, this and that.'
Gyn took our order and left us coffee to drink
We just sat quietly having a think
'You told me you were at the spot
Where you saw the man at the rail tracks get shot.
You said Steely Eyed Dan was a name you heard.
We figured that out from your slurred word.'
Raven nodded, said that's all that he knew
Sheriff thanked him, said that would have to do
Back at the jail 3Gun told Leo the name
He said, 'But I thought it was Judge Domain!'
'I heard your gal was arriving here any time now.
When she does I'll release you from the hoosegow.
'Best thing for you would be to get out while you can.
Just hope whoever it was tossed you off that train
ain't waitin' out there to try it again.'
