Secret Santa
Lorne came back to a town that was a mess.
The dock was washed out adding to his stress.
Workers he hired to level out the street.
The rebuilding would need to get started toot sweet.
Myna seemed restless, too much time in bed
He had to do something to occupy her head.
The holidays were coming
the Town Council had spoken
A Charity Christmas Gala they had chosen.
To be held at the town hall
Dinner, Dancing and fun for all
Myna would be great for planning
Decorations, music, food
she'd make it all enchanting
Maybe it would improve her mood.
Soon the pines were to arrive on the train.
He'd have the check the time with Mrs. Heckler again.
He got an apology letter from Whip Cracker
Roads and bridges washed out, what a disaster!
No presents would get through.
Just then he bumped into Rue.
"Bad news?"
"The stage is stuck in Rickety
It looks like no presents for anybody.
The children will be so disappointed."
Rue was quick with a solution and so was appointed.
To collect gifts for the children, clothing, and toys
To be delivered and wrapped by those she employs.
"We can put them all under the Christmas Tree
And have a lighting ceremony."
Mayor Order said.
"Each child can take a gift before sent off to bed."
"I arrange it all with Sister Mary Grace."
Rue said with a huge smile on her face.
Mayor Order went then to find CG
To make up a poster to place all over BG.
Announcing the Gala and lighting ceremony.

She suggested running something in The Pillars as well.
Loren nodded. "Sounds swell."
He added the idea of a Secret Santa too.
Thought it the thing to do.
Wanting the adults to have a special holiday
Told CG everything he wanted it to say.
A box would be placed at the café
Minded by Gyn and AJ.
Where anyone who wanted to participate
Could put down what they wanted
and leave the rest to fate.
With all that was left
Was to see 3Gun.
To see if he'd agree
To be Godfather to his son.
Myna had picked AJ for Leanna
His sweet ballerina
He wondered if he should have
Said something to CG.
"As Loren already said,
You had better pick me."
But he'd leave that to Myna
To tell her girlfriend.
About being chosen for Godmother,
For Lucas, since she is her best friend.
