She looked around,

These two always traveled in pairs.
At the body, she stared.
Definitely dead.
Shot to the head.
Bruce whipped her around
"You going to explain this to me?"
"I already did, Bounty Hunters
After you... Here in BG!"
"Okay, but why?"
"Because you had to be an idiot
and brag how you're the new guy!
There's a reason no one knew
who was Loopy Lou.
There are rival gangs
Nasty bands
Who now that Shamus and Lou are gone
would love to get their hands
On the one guy
who could keep our clan alive."

She didn't know what to say.
Because she knew
It's what Lou asked her to do.
Keep him safe Brandy at all cost.
Without him we are lost.
He just needs time to adjust.
To keep him alive you must.
Brandy's hands were far from clean

Bruce shook her, but he looked shaken

She pushed his hands off

She caught movement in an alley.

She took off down an alley or two
Tripped over a pair of shoes
Almost did she hit the ground
But two strong arms kept her sound.
When she turned around
His hand covered her mouth
So she couldn't make a sound.
