A Double Order
A gruesome sight,
of crimson sheets,
Lay in the kitchen wash-bin;
Sue and Bubba's hearts aghast
As from the circus they came in.
Back to the master bedroom,
Both of them did race!
Finding Lorne and Myna,
Enraptured in heaven's grace.
One each with a babe,
Cooing upon their chest;
The miracle of birth had come,
With twins they had been blessed.
Myna and Lorne smiled,
And bid them come in close.
With tears of joy upon her face,
Aunt Sue sat at the edge of the bed;
Bewilderment filled her mind,
"How?" Is all she said.
The story of the miraculous birth,
Was related to Bubba and Sue.
Of how the one expected baby,
Ended up being two.
Uncle Bubba piped up,
Shaking Lorne's hand;
"Well done Lorne, my boy!!
The job you did was grand!!"
"I am so proud of both of you!
Of this beautiful family you have made!
I wish you many blessings!"
Aunt Sue conveyed.
"Do you have names chosen,
For our grand niece and nephew?
Now that they have made,
Their glorious debut?"
"Lorne and I have discussed it,
And we have chosen names...
Our beautiful girl will be named,Leanna after Lean.
Our handsome boy will be namedLucus after Lou."
