Riley's POV

"You can head home now Riley." My boss tells me.

"Okay, thanks!" I reply. I change into skinny jeans and a plain tee shirt and head out the door.

I shiver as a cold breeve sweeps past me in the dark night since I forgot my sweater. I start walking down the street, when I hear,

"And where do you think you're going?"

I whip around and see James leaning against his truck.

"Hey." I say, smiling slightly.

"Need a ride home?" He asks.

"I suppose." I reply shyly. We get into the truck, which was unfortunately just as cold as it is outside. I continue to shiver.

"Cold?" James asks.

"No." I lie.

"Yes you are, don't lie." He says. I shrug and look out the window. I hear the sound of a zipper, and turn back around and see James handing me his sweater.

"Here." He says sweetly.

"I don't need it." I protest.

"Take it Riley." He says. I open my mouth to protest, but he cuts me off,

"Riley, I don't care if I have to pin you down and put it on you, you're putting it on!" He says, surprisingly angrily. I gulp, suddenly fearing him and take the jacket and put it on. I tense up in the seat, keeping my eyes from his. We drive, and he starts to laugh.

"It's like you're afraid I was going to kill you or something!" He laughs. I hit him in the arm.

"Because I was!" I grumble. he chuckles.

I ignore him, until we turn down an unfamiliar road. Then I start to worry.

"James? Where are we going?" I ask.

"You'll see." He replies.

"James, I'm serious. Where are we going?" I ask again.

"I said, you'll see." He repeats.

"James, please tell me where we're going!" I beg. He keeps his eyes on the road, completely ignoring me.

~~~~~
I know James was a player...But a killer? We keep driving on a beaten down dirt road. A perfect place to commit murder, and leave without a trace.
James keeps ignoring my questions, which is worrying me. My phone is dead and I can't call for help.
"James...Please." I beg. He shakes his head.
"We're here." He says.
We finally come to a stop at a cliff. Is that how he's going to kill me? Will he throw me over the cliff? I was now silently sobbing in my seat.
"Please James." I cry. "What are you going to do to me?"
James gets out of the truck and comes around to my side and opens the door.
"Get out." He says. I obey without hesitation, scared of what he would do to me if I didn't.
He grabs me and picks me up. I start screaming, and kicking. He lifts me up and puts me in the back of the truck.
Then he goes back to the truck again. I hear rummaging, probably for my murder weapon, but I'm too afraid to look.
This is m defiantly not the way I want to die. I don't want to be the ghost of some stupid documentary about the teen who got murdered by her boyfriend on one of those real life crime channels on tv.
I'm huddled into a little ball, sobbing and shaking. I hear footsteps, and I knew James was back. I manage to persuade myself to look up.
