Riley's POV

I lean into James's chest, making myself comfortable. I close my eyes, blocking out the conversation going on between James and his friends. I can hear the faint sound of something on the intercom, but I don't really pay enough attention to know what it is.

Until, James suddenly jolts up.

"What?" I inquire.

"Coach wants to see us." James tells me.

"Oh." I sigh disappointedly.

"I'll see you later." He says, leaning down and giving me a quick kiss.

"Yeah, see you later." I mumble. I sit up right, and realize that I'm left with Michelle and Stephanie. They were looking at me like they were ready to attack me.

"So, your James's new girlfriend?" Michelle says.

"Yeah, I am." I reply coldly.

"Look, maybe we got off on the wrong foot. How about we just start over?" Stephanie offers. Debating my choices for a moment, I finally agree.

"Yeah, sure." I reply. They both giggle.

"Okay, we'll I'm Stephanie, West's girlfriends." She tells me.

"And I'm Michelle, Eldon's girlfriend." Michelle tells me.

"Okay than." I giggle awkwardly.

"So, how long have you've been with James?" Michelle asks.

"Since last Friday." I tell them.

"You guys seem so close already, like it was meant to be." Michelle cooed.

"Just don't get used to it." Stephanie interjects. "I've seen James's girlfriends go day in, and day out. They don't last long."

"Stephanie!" Michelle shrieks.

"What? Im just warning her!" Stephanie says defensively.

"It's okay." I cut in, stopping the feud. Michelle gives me a sympathetic look.

James's POV

After a waste of time football meeting, me and the guys headed back to the cafeteria with our girls.

We get back to our table, where I find Riley in my seat.

The guys take their seats, while I remain standing.

"And what do you think your doing sitting in my seat?" I ask jokingly.

"I guess your going to have to deal with it." She giggles.

"Oh I don't think so!"

I pick her up in my arms, reclaim my seat, and plop her down in my lap.

"Now, isn't that better?" I smirk.

"For you maybe, but I happened to be quite comfortable." She pretends to pout. I crashed my lips into hers, kissing her roughy for several seconds, and than pull away.

"Does that make up for it?" I ask.

"Very much so." She replies with a tiny giggle.
