His Everything | JINKOOK

~Prologue~

1st September 2000

Jeon and Kims' families gather around at Joen's vacation house in Busan to celebrate Jeon's son birthday, which the birthday boy claimed to be annoying and boring. He'd rather spend his birthday silently at Seoul and eat sweet delicacies

"Kookie hyung... slow down please wait for Jinnie"

If you look closely, there're 2 small figures on the stone path to the small cottage located behind their stunning garden. The first figure is a bit taller than the second one, walking fast without glancing back at the small figure trailing behind and having a hard time keeping pace with him. Jeon Jungkook and Kim Seokjin, that's their names. 5 years old Jin is smitten with 9 years old Jungkook. He follows his Kookie hyung everywhere as long as Jungkook let him

"If you can't keep up with me then stop following me you annoying things"

Jung kook's annoyingly stated and increase his pace

"Owwie"

Just then Jin tripped with small stones on their way and cut his knees deep. He tries not to cry while his lip is quivering because he remember Jungkook told him to be strong and don't shed tear over trivial matter

"you okay?"

Jungkook run back to Jin immediately and was impressed because the kid doesn't cry while his knees bleed badly

"Jinnie is hurt Kookie hyung"

Jin said while bracing his tiny self to stand with the help of Jungkook holding both hands tightly

"Oww" but fail miserably and the pain is getting stronger that he just wants to cry out loud

"Get on my back Jinnie, let's go back to your parents"

Jungkook kneels down so Jin could climb on his back and Jin climbed on his back immediately, hugging him tight afraid that he might fall and get owwie again. Jungkook hold Jin's thigh with care afraid that he might hurt the kid's injured knees. Jungkook walks fast to the cottage where everyone sits and enjoy their tea after celebrate his small birthday party

"Lil' bean, what happened"

10 years old Namjoon asked with concern when he saw Jungkook piggyback Jin with worried look on his face

"Oh Jinnie, does it hurt bad baby?"

Jin's mom ask rush to out Jin down and settle him on her lap

"It's not that hurt mommy"

Jin lied, the small kid doesn't want to worry his mom because he wasn't careful enough himself

"He tripped on small stones along the ways and got his knees cut deep"

Jungkook informed her back while holding Jin's tiny hand

"Thanks you Kookie for giving him piggyback"

Jin's dad thanks the small kid and pat his head before run to the house for first aid box

"Oh my oh my what happened to your knees small bean"

Jungkook's mom run with all her might to get to Jin's side. Her beloved small bean got hurt when she just turn her back on them for 5 minutes and it must be because he was following his Kookie hyung

"Can't you wait for him when you were well aware that Jinnie is trailing behind you?"

She turns to her son and ask him with serious tune because this is not the first time her small bean got hurt because of her son

"I'm sorry; I-"

Jin cut Jungkook off because he believes that his Kookie hyung didn't do anything wrong

"It's my fault aunty, Kookie hyung told me not to follow him but Jinnie was being stubborn"

Jin said that while looking at his lap and fidgeting his tiny fingers; making everyone (except Jungkook) cooed at his consideration and Jungkook stood there feeling guilty. It's a cycle; Jin got injure while following him; his mom blames him; and Jin trying to defend him

"Here let's get your knees cleaned up"

Jin's dad is panting with all the running he just did. Jin grips Jungkooks's hand hard and clings to his side when they start cleaning his wounds. Jungkook keeps patting Jin's hair and whisper-praising him. Namjoon's mom can't help but took out a camera to take a pic of that moment. They look adorable seeking support and comforting each other like that. Jin just let his fat tears drop down his face. It hurt so bad but having his Kookie hyung patting his head like that, make it a bit bearable. Namjoon keeps praising Jin from the side, pity his lil' bean

"Jinnie is such a strong kid, you've done well small bean"

Jungkook's and Namjoon's grandma said while looking at the scene fondly. She loves her grandchildren greatly and Jin is like her own grandson
