Clem: Come on get up.

Your leg is being shaken violently.

You: Ok, ok... I'm up.

You sit up and look around. The Sun is up.

You: Good the Sun is out today. Hopefully we can start a fire easier tonight.

Clem: We need to get going so we can find the others.

You: I know. Just give me a minute.

You stand up and begin stretching, popping in many places.

You: The ground is killing me.

Clem: Come on.

You: Patience. They had to settle down for the night too.

Clem: They're faster than us.

You: Fine. Get on.

You get down low in front of her and help her onto your back. You get her into a comfortable position and look around.

You: Which way you are thinking boss?

Clem: Umm... That way.

She points and you start walking in that direction.

You: See anything that could help us last night.

Clem: No.

You: You think they would have stayed nearby in case we made it?

Clem: I don't know.

You: Where would they go?

Clem:

She stays silent. She's losing hope again.

You: Just think about it. We'll walk for now and hope we find them.

Clem: Ok.

Clem: What's that up ahead?

You: Looks like a building. No, a lot of buildings. Oh man.

Clem: Is it a town?

She says excitedly.

You: Yeah, looks like it.

Clem: They could be there.

You: Doesn't hurt to look.

You walk up to the town and find a street. You begin to walk past broken-down cars, covered in blood, and looted for everything they had. Houses are overgrown with broken windows and shingles falling from the them. There are a few Walkers on the street.

You: We should find somewhere to leave you so I can search the area and kill the Walkers easier.

Clem: I want to come with you.

You: I know. I just don't want to get caught and not be able to fight back.

Clem: Fine.

You walk into the closest house and walk up a set of stairs. You find a room and walk in. It's looted and run down, but Clem should be safe in it. You set her down on the old dusty bed in the room.

You: Looks safe enough. I'll check the rest of the house and tell you when I leave.

Clem: Could you find me a weapon just in case?

You: I can try, but no promises. I won't stay out there long just in case.

Clem nods at you and you shut the door behind you. It doesn't close all the way. It's probably been forced open at some point.
