Aj's POV...

Clem: You be safe, goofball.

Me: Ok.

I whine. I don't like it when she's calls me goofball. It makes me sound like a little kid.

Clem: You get Ruby and then meet us at the parking garage.

Violet: Yep.

Clem: Please keep him safe.

Louis: You can count on us.

Violet: Me... You can count on me.

Me: I can take care of myself.

Clem: But it doesn't hurt to have backup.

Me: Yeah, I guess you're right.

Clem: I love you.

Me: I love you too.

Y/N: Hey, we should get going. I'm sure they're on the way.

Clem: Alright.

He hugs her and whispers something in her hear.

Clem: I know. I just worry.

I don't know him well, but he's cool. He protects Clem, which is a good thing. Maybe I can get to know him a little better for Clem.

Y/N: Hey.

He squats down in front of me to get to my level.

Y/N: Grab the face.

He grabs my face. I can't help but chuckle.

Me: Ok. I will.

He holds his fist out in front of me. I bang my knuckles against his really hard. It hurts, but I hide it.

Y/N: That wasn't very smart. It hurt you more than it hurt me.

Me: No.

Y/N: I'm an expert liar, I know it hurt.

Me: It did.

He laughs at me.

Y/N: You get Ruby, and then I'll see you when you get the the armory. Probably.

Brooklyn: We're not sticking around.

Y/N: Sure we will.

He mumbles and winks at me before standing back up. Clem is smiling at him. He didn't do anything nice or funny?

Javier: Let's get going.

Everyone goes through the bodies, picking up useful items: guns, knifes, ammo. I take a pistol and a knife. I can't really hold a big rifle yet.

Y/N and Broo- Br- I don't know, lead the way. She's really good at fighting just like Y/N apparently.

As we come down the stairs into the lobby We stop. The girl, who's name I can't say, turns around.

Broo-: Don't waste your ammo. You'll need it. Anybody out here, are ours.

She points to Y/N.

Broo-: We can handle them.

She turns around and we hide behind things. The doors open and guns start going off. I don't know what's happening, but it isn't letting up.
