The Barrens

Dustin, Erica, Robin, Steve and Jason were hiding behind some machines in the arcade. Dustin and Jason took a quick look and saw the demo-dogs searching for them. Jason looked at Steve. Steve nodded his head and Jason used his telekinesis to make a noise and distract the demo-dogs. The demo-dogs turned to the noise. "Now." Robin said. They ran out the arcade and the demo-dogs followed them. Dustin started screaming like a little girl. Erica looked at him while running. "Would you shut up nerd!?" Erica yelled. They were stopped by Steve and Robin. They saw the mind flayers a few feet away from them. They looked back and the demo-dogs were catching up to them. "Well shit!" Jason yelled. The monsters started surrounding them. "Hey, assholes!" Lucas yelled. The demo-dogs and mind flayers looked at him. "Eat shit!" Max yelled. Lucas shot his wrist rocket to one of the demo-dogs. Steve, Robin, Erica, jason and Dustin ran to them. "Thanks." Jason said. Max and Lucas nodded. "Where's Mike?" Dustin asked. Lucas and Max looked at each other and shrugged. "Start running!" Mike yelled. They all looked up at the roof. "What the hell?" Erica asked. "Now!" Mike yelled pointing at the demogorgons. "Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit!" Dustin yelled. They started running. Jason helped Mike down and they ran with the others. They catched up with El, Will, Joyce, Hopper, Nancy and Jonathan. "Go, go, go!" Steve yelled. "Where is Alex when we need her!" Dustin yelled. Alex gasped for air. She woke up. She got up from her bed and saw clothes on her desk. She put them on and went downstairs. "Hey, did you sleep well?" Pennywise asked. "I slept... fine." Alex said grabbing a blindfold and runs back to her room and closes the door. She puts the blindfold on. Alex starts seeing the others running away from the mind flayers and the rest of the monsters. The mind flayer 2 grabbed Max. It roared in her face. Everyone was yelling. Max was looking away from the mind flayer 2. "No. no. no!" Alex yelled. All of a sudden the mind flayer dropped Max and went flying into the demo-dogs, demogorgon and mind flayer. Alex's eyes widened. Lucas run to Max and so did the others. "Are you okay?" Lucas asked. Max nodded. Alex was still mad. She walked in front of the monsters. "Stay. away. From. my. Friends!" Alex said. She stomped her foot on the ground and it created an earthquake. Mike and the others felt the earthquake. "What is that?!" Will asked. All of a sudden, Alex teleported in front of the monsters. She started lifting up the floor. Her hair was down and wind was blowing it back. Her eyes started glowing yellow. She started screaming and the monsters looked like they were disintegrating. Mike's eyes widened. "Alex." Mike said. Alex's arms started filling with energy. She put them up and the monsters were blasted far from Alex and the others. Alex fell to the floor. El, Mike, Max, Steve, Dustin and Jason ran to her. "That was amazing!" Dustin said. "Are you okay?" Mike asked. Alex nodded. "I have to go back." Alex said. They all nodded. Alex teleported back to her room. "Alex is everything okay?" Pennywise asked knocking on the door. Alex opened the door. "Yes just I was checking up on my friends." Alex said. Pennywise nodded. "I'm going to go somewhere okay." Pennywise said. Alex nodded. "Be careful at the barrens." Pennywise said. Alex's eyes widened. She forgot all about the barrens. Pennywise left and Alex was looking out the window. She heard a bike and saw in the distance Richie on his bike. Alex teleported in the front of the house she told Richie she lived in. "hey, Alex!" Richie said. "Hi." Alex said. "You ready?" Richie asked. Alex nodded. "Hop on." Richie said. Alex got on the back of Richie's bike and wrapped her arms around Richie's waist. Alex laid her head on Richie's back. "Hold on tight okay." Richie said. Alex nodded still having her hand on Richie's back. Richie smiled a bit and blushed. He started pedaling to the barrens. "Before we get there, just know that the barrens are well there not exactly where I would want you to spent your first day back in Derry but Bill lost his brother and I kinda promised him I would help him look along with Stan and Eddie and I didn't want you to spent the day in your room all day bored out of your mind so-" Richie said. "Rich, Richie!" Alex said. "Yeah?" Richie asked. "I get it." Alex said. Bill catched up to them. "Hey, Richie. Hey, A-A-Alex." Bill said. "Hey." Richie and Alex said. They stopped by Eddie's house. Eddie came out. "Hey, Alex, Richie and Bill." Eddie said. "Hi." Alex, Richie and Bill said. "Come in." Eddie said. "Stanley is going to meet us there." Eddie said. Richie and Bill nodded. They stepped inside and Alex stayed out for a while, scared because she saw Eddie's mom. "Hey, Alex, you okay?" Richie asked. Alex shook her head and pointed at Eddie's mom. "That's just my mom. She won't do anything." Eddie said. "Y-y-yeah" Bill said. Richie stepped outside. "She won't hurt you as long as i'm here hot stuff, no one will." Richie said. Alex looked confused. "Hot stuff?" Alex asked. Eddie rolled his eyes. "That's my nickname for you." Richie said. Alex nodded. She liked it. Richie grabbed Alex's hand and they all went inside. As they walked passed Eddie's mom Alex got closer to Richie. "Take anything but the delicious deals guys. My mom loves them." Richie and bill started putting things in there backpacks. "So first you say the barrens and now your saying the sewer." Eddie said. Richie opened a cabinet filled with pills. Richie tapped Alex. Alex turned around and Richie pointed to the cabinet. Alex looked at all the pills and her eyes widened. "Hey, Eddie, are these our birth control pills?" Richie asked smiling. "Yeah and I'm saving them for you and Alex. this is private stuff." Eddie said. Alex was confused but brushed it off. After a few minutes they were about to walk out. "Eddie, dear." Eddie's mom said. Alex grabbed Richie's hand. "Where are you guys off to in such a rush?" she said. "J-j-just my house Ms. K-k-kaspbrak. I got a n-n-n-" Bill said. 'A new crocay set. Geez spit it out B-B-bill." Richie said trying to hide Alex. "okay, Eddie put go on the grass too much, especially if it's just been cut, you know how badly your allergies get." she said. Eddie nodded and they were about to leave. "Aren't you forgetting something?" She said. Alex wrapped her arms around Richie's waist and hid behind him. Eddie walked to his mom and kissed her cheek. Richie laughed laughing softly. Eddie came back. "You want one from me too Ms. K-" Richie started. "Out, out, out." Eddie said pushing them out the door. She saw Alex. "eddie who is that?" She asked. Eddie looked at Alex. "shit." Richie said. Bill walked in. "she's my c-c-cousin Ms. K. she's v-v-visiting for the summer." Bill said. Eddie nodded. "Bye mom." Eddie said. Bill grabbed Alex's hand and took her outside. "Sorry I left you." Richie said. "It's okay." Alex said. They all got on their bikes and rode to the sewers. They arrived at the same time as Stanley. "Oh hi Alex." Stanley said. "Hi." Alex said. "Hi." Richie said. Richie grabbed Alex's hand quickly and they started walking to the sewers. Bill went in front of them. "That's poison ivy, and that's poison ivy." Stanley said. "What? Where? Where's the poison ivy?" Eddie asked. "Nowhere! Not every fucking plant is poison ivy Stanley!" Richie said. Alex and Richie walked in. Alex looked back. "Aren't you guys coming in?" Alex asked. "Nuh uh. That's grey water." Eddie said. "What the hell is grey water!?" Richie asked. "It's basically piss and shit, so i'm just telling you, you guys are splashing around in millions of gallons of Derry pee." Eddie said. Richie let go of Alex's hand and picked up a big stick. Alex watched him closely. He brought the stick to his nose and smelled it. "What? What are you doing?" Eddie asked. Alex started smiling. Richie smiled at her. "Doesn't smell like caca to me senor." Richie said in a horrible spanish accent as he turned to Eddie and Stanley. Alex started laughing. Stanley rolled his eyes. "What? Have you heard of a staph infection!" Eddie said. "I've also heard of staph infection!" Richie said. "That's not funny." Eddie said. "Alex thinks it's funny." Richie said. Alex was still laughing. "That's just her." Eddie said. Richie picked up something with the stick and throw it at Eddie. Eddie screamed like a little girl. Alex laughed harder. "That is so unsanitary!" Eddie said. "Do you use the same bathroom as your mother?" Richie asked. "Sometimes yeah." Eddie said. "Then you probably have crabs." Richie said. "That is so not funny." Eddie said. Alex walked to Bill. He picked up a shoe. He showed Alex. "guys!" Alex said. They all stopped. "S-shit don't tell me that's-" Stanley said. "No Georgie wore yeezys." Bill said. Richie walked towards them. "It's Betty Rimpsons." Richie said. Alex and Bill looked at each other scared. "How do you think Betty feels? Walking around in the sewers with only one freakin shoe." Richie said hopping on one foot. Bill looked at him and shook his head. Richie shut up. "What if she's still here?" Eddie asked. "If I were Betty I'd want us to find her. G-G-Georgie too." Bill said. "Who do you think is doing this?" Alex asked. "I don't know. Maybe this will help us find out." Bill said. "What if I don't want to find out." Eddie said. "What?" Richie asked. "No offense, Bill, but I don't want to end up like-" Eddie started. Bill looked down sad. Alex hugged him. "I don't want to go missing either." Eddie said. "He has a point." Stanley said. "Y-y-you too?" Bill asked. "It's summer. We're supposed to be having fun." Stanley said. They heard a loud splash. Alex ran out of the sewers. Bill and Richie followed. "Holy shit!" Richie said seeing Ben all bloody in the water. Alex ran and helped Ben up. "What happened to you?!" Richie said. "Henry Bowers." Ben said. The losers club's eyes widen. "He's hurt." Alex said. "Let's get him the the pharmacy." Stanley said. Alex nodded. Ben rode with Richie and Alex rode with Bill. "I think it's great were helping the new kid but-" Eddie started. "But n-n-nothing." Bill said. "Henry is an asshole. He's sick for doing that to him. The least we can do is help him before I teach that Bowers kid a lesson for good." Alex said. "Damn hot stuff. Your cute when your feisty." Richie said. Alex smiled a little. They arrived at the pharmacy. "Alex, Richie you two stay out here we'll get the supplies." Eddie said. Alex nodded. "Glad I got to meet you before you died." Richie said. Alex smacked Richie's arm. "Ow!" Richie said. Alex gave him the 'shut up' look. Richie rubbed his arm. Stanley, Eddie and Bill came back. Bill walked to the side and Alex saw he was talking to a girl with pretty red hair. She reminded Alex of Max. in fact, Eddie reminded Alex of dustin with his girly scream and Stanley reminded her of Lucas, Richie of Mike, Ben of Will and Bill of El. The girl walked to them. "Are you okay? That looks like it hurts." Beverly said. "Yeah I just fell." Ben said. "Yeah right into Henry Bowers." Richie said. Stanley, Eddie and Bill gave him a death glare. Alex saw this and smacked Richie again. "Ow!" Richie said looking at Alex. Alex gave him the 'shut up' look again. Stanley laughed a little. "We're going to the quarry later if you wanted to come." Bill said. "Good to know." Beverly said. Beverly left and Bill turned to Alex and Richie. "Nice bringing up Bowers in front of her." Eddie said. "Yeah you heard what she did." Stanley said. "What she do?" Alex and Ben asked. "More like who'd she do. From what I hear the list is longer than my wang." Richie said touching his private. Bill covered Alex's eyes. Bill death glared Richie and uncovered Alex's eyes. "you're coming to the quarry too right?" Stanley asked. Alex looked at Richie and he nodded. "Yes." Alex said.  Eddie couldn't fix Ben up. "I can't the cut is getting bigger." Eddie said. Alex sighed. "I'ma do something. Promise you won't freak out. Please." Alex said. "Promise." they all said. Alex put her hand out and healed Ben. everyone was shocked and Eddie wanted to freak out but he didn't. "You you have powers." Eddie said. Alex nodded slowly scared that they might think she's a freak and stop being friends with her. Richie walked up to her and put his hand on her cheek. He smiled at her. "You having powers doesn't change anything, okay?" Richie said. Alex nodded. "Thank you for healing me." Ben said. Alex nodded. "Is that all you can do?" Eddie asked. Alex shook her head. Alex looked at the sky. "It's getting late. Can I show you guys tomorrow?" Alex asked. They all nodded. "I'll walk you home." Richie said. Alex and Richie started walking. "Is there anything else I need to know?" Richie asked. "I got taken by scientist when I was three, I didn't move I was kidnapped and that's why I didn't say goodbye. Not all of the scientist were bad one of them was teaching me things and he let me escape. I found out I had a sister. I thought my parents were dead but they aren't. Her name is Eleven. I meet a guy named Steve he was like a big brother to me. I met my sister's friends and they became my friends. There were creatures from another dimension after me. We stopped them I fell for a guy named Mike." Alex said. "Oh. are you two still together?" Richie asked. Alex shook her head. "When I was looking for someone he and my sister kissed and we broke up but we are still friends." Alex said. Richie got a little mad. "Bullshit! He basically cheated on you with someone who I know for a fact is way less beautiful that you because you are the most beautiful girl in the world! The fact that he thinks otherwise is stupid! He doesn't deserve your forgiveness!" Richie said. Alex looked at him. "Maybe but before I came he helped me. Of course I'm still hurt but to me I don't want to stop being friends with any of them." Alex said. "What does that asshole look like anyways?" Richie asked. "You." Alex said. Richie stopped. "What?" Richie asked. Alex smiled and kept walking. "Alex. Alex! Son of a bitch, Alex!" Richie said. He dropped his bike and walked after Alex. "he looks like who!?" Richie asked. Alex kept smiling. "Alex!" Richie started catching up to her. Alex started running. "Shit." Richie said. He ran after Alex and wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her back to him. Alex screamed. "He looks like me!?" Richie asked Alex. Alex turned to Richie. "Yup just without the glasses that make your eyes look bigger than they are." Alex said. Richie smiled and pulled Alex closer. Alex wrapped her arms around Richie's neck. She played with his hair a little. Richie looked in her eyes. "Alex?" Richie asked. "Yes Richie?" Alex asked looking at Richie. "I really like you." Richie said. Alex smiled and kissed him. They pulled away. "I like you too." Alex said. "Not because I remind you of your ex right." Richie said. "You remind me of him but I don't like you because you look like him you two are complete opposites." Alex said. Richie smiled and kissed her again.
