"Why do you have to leave right now? You said two days." Richie said. "I know Richie but Mike called and-" Alex said. "He wants to get back together with you?" Richie asked. "No. something happened and my friends need me to go back." Alex said. "What happened?" Richie asked. "You remember the monster my dad turned into when he stabbed me?" Alex asked. "Yeah." Richie said. "It's real. It's in Hawkins. My friends wanted me to see my dad so they stayed and i left. When i left it was still there. They got rid of it but it's back and i need to stop it." Alex said. Richie sighed and hugged Alex. "just be careful. I don't want you getting hurt again. Also if that Mike kid tries to take you away from me-" Richie said. "Richie, me and him are still friends. Nothing more now I have to go." Alex said. "I'll tell the others." Richie said. "Thank you." Alex said. Alex was about to teleport when she realised something. "There is no way i'm leaving these things with you." Alex said. "Oh wow." Richie said. Alex grabbed the box of letters and the walkie.  She teleported to her room. She put her walkie on her night stand and the box under her bed. She ran to Steve's room. Steve was sitting on his bed and looked up. "You're back." Steve said. Alex smiled. "You're back!" Steve said jumping up and hugging Alex. he lifted her off the floor. Alex hugged Steve back. "How was meeting your dad?" Steve asked. "Not good. He tried to hurt me and my new friends." Alex said. "That sucks." Steve said. Alex nodded. "Dustin told me you found a boyfriend." Steve said. "His name is Richie." Alex said. "Maybe I can meet him sometime." Steve said. Alex nodded. "Can I go see El, please?" Alex asked. Steve thought for a second. "Fine just be back before it gets really dark." Steve said. Alex nodded. She ran out the door and headed to Hopper's cabin. Alex heard voices. "Mike said the mind flayer is back." Jason said. "Well last time the gate was in russia and under the remains of starcourt so where could it be now." El said. "I don't know." Jason said. Alex turned invisible. She made El see Jason disappear. El got confused. "Jason?" El asked. Alex covered El's eyes. "Did you miss me?" Alex asked. El jumped up. "Alex!?" El asked. Alex smiled. El saw Jason again. "When did you-" Jason started. El jumped up and hugged Alex. Jason hugged her as well. "What's with all the yelling?" hopper asked. Alex, El and Jason stopped hugging. "You're back." hopper said. "Yeah." Alex said. Hopper and Alex hugged. "How were things with your dad?" Jason asked. "He tried to hurt me and my new friends." Alex said. "What?" Hopper asked. "We know." Jason said. "Then why did you asked?" Alex said. "We wanted to know if there was any explanation." El said. Alex shook her head. "I want to know who Richie is and if he's treating you well." El said. Alex smiled. "My boyfriend i told you and yes." Alex said. El smiled. "The gate is opened again." jason said. "I know. Mike told me." Alex said. "You saw him?" El asked. "No. he called me on the walkie. That's why i came back early." Alex said. "You should really see him." Jason said. "Not just him. The other's too." El said. Alex nodded. Alex left and walked to Max's house. She knocked on the door and Max opened the door. Max screamed in excitement. "You're back!" Max yelled. Max jumped up and hugged Alex. Alex covered her ears. "Sorry." Max said. "It's fine." Alex said. "So you and Richie." Max said. "Yes." Alex said. "He's perfect for you." Max said. "You've never meant him." Alex said. "You said he's way different than Mike just that they look the same. As long as he's not Mike he's perfect." Max said. Alex laughed. "I'm going to see the others." Alex said. Max nodded. After seeing Dustin, Will and Lucas Alex went to Mike's house. She closed her eyes and saw Mike laying on the couch of his basement. He had his eyes closed. Alex went through his back door. Mike was also listening to music. Alex turned invisible and turned off the music. Mike's eyes opened and he looked around. He thought for a second. "Alex." Mike said. Alex stopped being invisible and smiled. Mike hugged her. Alex hugged Mike back. "I know things with your dad weren't great." Mike said. Alex looked down. "Do you wanna talk about it?" Mike asked. Alex nodded. They sat down on the couch. "When i first out to derry i saw Richie and his friend which are now my friends. At first i didn't want him to know about my powers so I lied to him for a little while. My dad at first was nice but he lied to me." Alex said. Mike grabbed her hand. "He ate kids Mike. kids. And he said he did it for me." Alex said. Mike pulled her into a hug. "Before that happened did you have a good time." Mike said. Alex nodded. "I did." Alex said. Mike smiled. "Does Richie, does he make you happy?" Mike asked. "Yeah." Alex said. "Do you like anyone?" Alex asked. "What? No. i'm still- I don't want to have any distractions until the mind flayer is gone for good." Mike said. Alex nodded. "Speaking of the mind flayer where do you think the gate is?" Alex said. "I have no idea." Mike said. Alex looked at the clock. "Oh god. I told Steve I would be back before it gets really dark." Alex said. "You can call him if you want to tell him you lost track of time and that you're on your-" Mike started. "Can I stay here? I just don't feel like i'm strong enough to use my power and I don't feel like walking alone." Alex said. "Yeah sure. Call Steve to tell him." Mike said. Alex nodded. She called Steve and told him. After that Mike and Alex sat on the couch. "Have you gotten more powers?" Mike asked. "Mhm." Alex said. "What are your other friends like?" Mike asked. "They remind me of you guys." Alex said. Mike smiled. Alex looked to the side and saw a camera. She smiled. "The camera." Alex said. "What?" Mike asked. "The camera you took pictures in." Alex said. "Oh that camera. I think it still has the picture I took of you." Mike said. Alex grabbed the camera and took a picture of Mike. "hey!" Mike said. Alex started laughing. "Payback for all the times you did that to me." Alex said. Mike smiled. "Remember when we used to go up to my roof and-" Mike started. "Watch the stars. Yeah I remember." Alex said. Mike got up and so did Alex. Mike took her to the roof and they sat down. They watched the stars for half an hour and they decided to go to bed. Alex slept with Mike in his bed since Mike didn't want her to sleep on the floor and Alex didn't want him to either. *Richie* Richie was reading a comic book sitting in a hamic. "Richie your times up." Eddie said. "What are you talking about?" Richie asked.  "10 minutes each those are the rules." Eddie said. Richie rolled his eyes and continued reading. Eddie got on the hamic trying to get Richie off. The others shook their heads. All of a sudden a projection showed on the wall of the clubhouse Ben build. It showed Alex. they all looked at it. Alex fell to the floor. Mike ran to her. "Alex? Alex? Alex!" Mike said. Alex's nose was bleeding. "Mike? Help me." Alex said. Mike helped her up and they ran to Will's house. Alex tried standing up but she couldn't. They got inside. "What happened?" Dustin asked. "She's drained." Mike said. Alex's eyes were almost closing. "Hey, no, stay with me Alex okay." Mike said. He moved her hair behind her ear. Alex slowly nodded. "How drained is she?" jason asked. "She can barely walk." Mike said. "Find her a lamp something to-" jason started. He was interrupted by a roar. "Are we seeing what's going on with Alex?" Beverly asked. Richie kept looking at the projector. The mind flayer broke the roof of Will's house. They all screamed. Alex screamed in pain. Her leg opened and her waist was getting bruised. She fell to the floor. Mike picked her up bridal style. They all ran in the woods. The mind flayer roared and Alex covered her ears. Mike set her down on the ground. "Alex. look at me are you okay?" Mike said. Alex shook her head. Alex started crying. Mike hugged her. "I can't Mike. I wanna go back. I wanna see Richie." Alex said. The projector turned off. They were all confused and scared. "We have to go." Richie said. "Go? Go where?" Eddie asked. "Hawkins. That's where Alex is." Richie said. The losers nodded.
