It's Time

Lucas went back inside. "It's time." Alex whispered to herself. Mike came outside. "What are you doing out here?" Mike asked. "Thinking." Alex said. Mike helped her up. He hugged her. He rested his chin on the top of her head. "I don't want to lose you, Alex. Never." Mike whispered. Alex started crying softly. "Hey, what's wrong?" Mike asked. Alex shook her head and looked up at him. "Nothing. I- I just... I love you." Alex said. Mike smiled. He leaned in and kissed her. Mike's forehead was against hers. "I love you too." Mike said. Alex smiled. "But can we go inside it's cold." Mike said. Alex laughed and nodded. They went inside. "What were you two doing?" Justin asked. "Talking." Mike said. "Ok sure." Jackie said smiling. "You do this all the time." Yajaira said. "Yeah so now you can't say I'm only doing this to you." Jackie said. Yajaira rolled her eyes. "So when do you think Alex's dad is coming?" Ricky asked. "I don't know." Alex said. They heard a loud thud. Richie closed his eyes. "Fuck we jinxed it." Richie said. Jackie smacked Richie. "Ow." Richie said. They all ran outside. They saw the mind flayer back to his original form. Pennywise looks mad. "Your stronger than I thought Alex but I can easily win." Pennywise said. "No you can't." Alex said. "Why? Cuz your little friends from the lab are going to stop me?" Pennywise asked. "Not them, me." Alex said. Mike looked at her. "What?" Mike asked. Alex looked back at them. Everyone knew what she was planning. "You can't!" Dustin said. "Alex, no." Max said. "You're not going to die!" El, Lucas, Richie, and Will said. "This isn't happening." Eddie said. "No!" Beverly, Bill, Ben, Mike H, and Stanley said. Jason, Adrian, Jackie, Ricky, Jennifer, Stephanie, Francine, Kali, Justin and Liam looked down. Mike looked at them. "You all knew about this!?" Mike yelled. "You have got to be shitting me." Yajaira said. "Mike-" Alex started. "No! I'm not letting you!" Mike yelled. "Mike, you have to." Alex said. "I won't!" Mike said. "Mike, we both knew this was the only way!" Alex said. "There are other ways! This doesn't have to end with you dying!" Mike said. "I'm sorry." Alex said with her eyes getting watery. "No. No! Alex stop!" MIke yelled. Alex walked away. "Alex! Alex please! Don't!" Everyone yelled. Alex put a fire line to block the others from getting to her. "I'm done with this." Alex said. "What is it now Alex?" Pennywise asked. Alex's eyes turned blue. She started floating. Pennywise signaled the mind flayer. He got closer to Alex. Alex turned to him and put her hand up. The mind flayer stopped. She put her hand in a fist and the mind flayer started to screech. It started burning in fire. It screeched louder. It fell to the floor. It wasn't moving. All of a sudden there was his light coming out of it and it was gone. Then Alex turned to her dad. She made two trees grip him tight. He tired to get out but couldn't. There was screaming. The others were trying to get Alex to stop. "It's over." Alex said. Alex closed her eyes and there was a strong wind. Then a bunch of water came from the side. Along with the water there was fire. Blue lightning started surrounding Alex. Alex's forcefield started activating. Alex's eyes opened and there was lightning in them. Alex screamed. It was too much for her but she kept going. She could see her dad's real face starting to appear on Pennywise's face. She kept going. Alex felt stronger pain and her nose started to bleed. All of a sudden Energy came to her. She caused a blackout in Hawkins but it wasn't enough all of a sudden more and more energy came to her and she cause a blackout all over the world. The others could only see Alex and Pennywise. Alex started glowing blue. She screamed louder. Blood started coming from her ears. Alex shook her head in pain wanting it to be over. But she didn't stop. Alex started crying but she kept going. Pennywise was almost out of her dad. Alex started breathing heavily. The ground started shaking. A light started coming from Alex. It was getting brighter. Mike started crying. The others closed there eyes not being able to handle the light. Mike closed his eyes too. Alex screamed louder and louder. Alex screamed and then everything was silent. Then there was a force that went around the world. Alex's eyes closed and she fell. Her dad did too. He was back to normal but unconscious. All of a sudden Jason, Adrian, Jennifer, El, Francine, Stephanie, Ricky, Jackie, Kali, Liam and Justin fell to the floor. Their eyes went yellow as they felt a sharp pain. Then their eyes were normal and their powers were back. Jason got up and put out the fire. The light came on around the world. They all ran to Alex. Mike got there first. "Alex?" Jason asked. "Alex!" Mike said. They all started shaking her. Dustin checked her pulse. Nothing. Lucas put his ear against her chest to see if he heard her heart. Nothing. She wasn't moving or breathing. "S-she's gone." Bill said. Max put her hand on her mouth and started crying she hugged Lucas. Lucas eyes were watery. "No." El and Mike said. Beverly and Bill cried into each other's arms. Will and Eddie hugged and cried. A tear fell from El's cheek and Mike started crying. El started sobbing and Jason pulled her to him and hugged her while tears fell from both their cheeks. Yajaira and Jackie hugged. Adrian was crying and so were all the others. Mike pulled Alex into a hug as he cried burying his face in her neck. Alex's body was cool and pale. Lifeless. After crying for hours the others called Steve and everyone who wasn't there. Mike had carried Alex inside and put her on the couch. They left Mike alone with her. Mike was holding her hand. "Why did you have to do this Alex?" Mike asked. He cried more and ran his fingers through his hair. He got up and started throwing things across the room. He flipped the table over. "Fuck!" Mike yelled. He put his back against the wall and slid down crying more. "Damnit! Damnit! Damnit!" Mike said punching the floor. His hands were shaking badly. He put them through his hair in frustration. "Why did you?" Mike whispered crying. He couldn't finish. After an hour Steve came downstairs. He had been crying. "Mike?" Steve asked. Mike didn't answer. Steve looked around and found him. "Is it- um okay if I take her? So me and my parents could say goodbye." Steve said. Mike just nodded. Steve put Alex in the back seat laying down. He started crying but tried not to too much because he was driving. After a while Steve saw something in the road and turned the wheel to avoid it. He hit a tree. He had a cut on the top of his head. Then he heard a gasp. *El* El and Jason came back to the cabin. "Kid." Hopper said. El ran to his arms and cried. Jason went to the room Hopper gave him and slammed the door. *Losers* The losers were with Will as he got to his house. "Honey I heard." Joyce said. Will hugged her and tears escaped his eyes. The losers stood there thinking and trying not to cry. *Max*  Max ran to her room and looked around. Alex and Max were dancing in her room. They were singing. "Max!" Alex screamed as they were watching a movie in her living room. "So you and Mike?" Max asked. "Good." Alex said. "You guys have to be more than good." Max said. Alex smiled. They both laughed. "Isn't that the guy you said was a good kisser?" Alex asked pointing at Ralph Macchio in a magazine. "I said I bet not was." Max said. "You want me to cover for you." Max said. "And you owe me a real sleepover." Max said. "Deal." Alex said. Max looked down and started crying. *Lucas* Lucas went in his room and tears fell from his eyes. He remembered the day he met Alex in the back of scoops ahoy. Then everything they've been through together. Their conversation at Mike's front porch. *Dustin* "Dusty?" his mom asked. She saw he had been crying. "What happened?" she asked. "One of my friends... she's dead." Dustin said. She hugged him and Dustin cried more. *Mike* Mike was in his room laying on his bed. Nancy knocked on his door. "Mike? Are you okay?" Nancy asked. "I-i'm  fine." Mike said. Nancy nodded and sighed. She closed the door. Mike opened his cabinet and took out a small box with pictures of Alex and him. "Mike! I'm serious no!" Alex said. "Come on. Just one picture and I'll stop." Mike said. Alex looked at him and he took a picture. "There was that so hard?" Mike asked. Alex took the camera. "Hey!" Mike said. Alex got up. Mike ran after her. She screamed. Mike picked her up. "Mike put me down!" Alex said. He took the camera and placed it on the table. Alex faced him. They were about to kiss then Mike's favorite song came on. "Oh I love this song." Mike said. Alex laughed. "What?" Mike asked. "Nothing." Alex said. Mike hugged her. He hummed the lyrics. Alex smiled. Mike kissed her forehead and intertwined their fingers. Alex looked up at him. "I love you." Alex said. Mike smiled. "I love you too." Mike said. Alex looked at the time. "Shit I have to go talk to El." Alex said. Alex kissed Mike's cheek. "Bye." Alex said. Mike pulled her back. "Mmm. do you have to?" Mike said. "Yes." Alex said. "Fine." Mike said. He cupped her face and kissed her. "I'll see you tomorrow and be careful." Mike said. "I know." Alex said. "Bye." Mike said. Alex left. Mike started crying again.
