Report:

It has been several weeks since Mr. Palmer's children joined the game during <Isekai Online's> launch. During our investigations, we saw that one of them managed to discover a guideless system to [Magecrafting], something that the beta testers failed to do so. Additionally, he managed to unlock an event slated to come in the near future as well as master the game mechanics of this world and many spells despite using a race that doesn't possess any skills that can give them advantages based on their real-life skills and talents in the virtual world of <Volo>.

But one thing that shocked us the most is the first completion of <Tested Wild's> main quest. Seeing them subjugating a difficult boss in their first try was one thing, but we were also surprised by them befriending the forest's guardian so easily. What's more, it took them a few hours to take care of all other threats thrown at them. I must say, they really have inherited Mr. Palmer's ability to adapt to their virtual environment with quick thinking and unorthodox strategies.

However, their battling skills in the game aren't the only aspects we observed. Our original intention for our boss NPC, <Bai Hu> was to serve as the players' first challenge in the game, in order to observe how they are able to use what they learned and mastered during their first few hours of playing after facing off several monsters and lesser guardians of the forest. But in order to bring him to life in the world of <Volo> , we also added special lore related to him as well a secret event that can only be activated by a [Insignis] player. Unfortunately, with most of the player base preferring other races than [Insignis], nobody seemed to be able to find the secret event as they have only focused on the public boss event we announced during the launch. To tell you the truth, I originally had planned for that race to be cut in our first update due to its lack of popularity. However, it wasn't until our observance of Kazuki Palmer that we have changed everything we knew about the [Insignis] race.

We already expected that he would learn about his abilities during their first encounter, but we didn't expect that he and his brother wouldn't just choose any given multiple choice question prompts at random whenever they talked to an NPC. Rather, they strayed off the script and managed to open up Bai Hu's trust with nothing but genuine words and kindness towards the A.I. It was in this very encounter that we detected signs of the NPC's divergence from the A.I.'s usual programming and showing a bit of awareness by offering his friendship to Kazuki and Hayate. This is truly an astounding feat and the first step of truly bringing this virtual world to life.

Following this event, we haven't seen Hayate and Kazuki's avatars in the game as of this writing. I can deduce that they are taking a break from the game for a while, which is understandable due to their real-life obligations and the near-traumatic events of their [Quest]. Regardless, I can assure you that Mr. Palmer had the right judgment call on inviting his children to play this experimental game. For now, we will continue our observations once they return to <Isekai Online> while continuing to help the development team complete the aforementioned surprise event for the near future.
