After breaking up with his girlfriend, well, ex-girlfriend, he realized that whenever he looked at a woman, he would find them disgusting and it deepened his hatred for them, causing him to develop misogyny.

He continued walking until something caught his eyes. He stopped and looked through the window of the bookshop, Enchanted Life. On one of the shelves displayed a book that he had been pondering on whether to read it or not. Now that he saw it in person, he couldn't help but want to buy it. He saw online how people talk about the book and all the comments are positive comments, earning the book a 5-star rating as well as multiple award choices.

He then bought the book, which was titled Conquer of the Realm. Once he was home, he quickly took off his shoes and took a nice long shower. With only a towel around his waist, YiWei went to dry his hair and put a random shirt and boxer on. Feeling an unknown excitement, he grabbed the book and began to slowly read it, integrating all the words on the pages into his mind.

In Conquer of the Realm, the protagonist, Mu Fan, was summoned as a hero to defeat the Demon King. Like other isekai novels that YiWei have read in the past, the protagonist collects many harem members, all beauties who are unique in their own way. The main female lead, Victoria, was the Holy Maiden so of course, she was the main wife of Mu Fan. Though as the main wife, Victoria was alright with sharing her husband with many other woman, as she, which was described in the book, loves the fact that her husband was the conquer, even passing the emperor of that world, after defeating the Demon King.

YiWei continued to read the book until the end, but the fact the the woman would be okay with sharing one man adds to his hatred of women. The story was good when the protagonist defeats the Demon King and then rules the entire world, however, with the addition of the whole harem, he couldn't help but dislike the book.

He flipped to the last page and suddenly, he blacked out.
