Part 6

-Friday- 

The day I will move into the mansion. My family waited for me outside to say goodbye.

"Rosie, goodbye. You can come to visit us anytime you want." my dad said.

"Goodbye, I will miss you!" my mother said.

"Goodbye, sis," he said smiling.

They hug me tightly as they were sad to let me go. 

"Goodbye. I will miss you all" I said smiling.

"Lady Rose."

I turned my head and it was the duke waiting for me.

He bows to my parents. 

"It is an honor to meet you, your majesty. "I'm Duke Robert from the South," he said.

"Yes, it's nice to meet you as well," they respond.

"I promise to make your wife happy," he said while smiling.

Why is he acting like that?

"Yes, please make my daughter happy," Father said shocked.

The rest of my family was shocked to see him smiling.

"Now, my wife." Let Go. I'm so thrilled to take you home," he said smiling while letting his hand out.

I blushed.

"Yes," I said while holding his hand.

He escorted me to the carriage. As I enter the carriage, I waved goodbye to them. 

We were on the way to the mansion.

I was staring at him while he was staring at the window. He looks at me.

"Why are you staring at me?" Are you perhaps thinking I'm hot?" he said teasing.

"No it's not like that," I said while blushing.

"I was just shocked by the way you acted in front of my parents." I thought, am I marrying the right man?" I said while laughing a bit.

"It's rude to disrespect your parents" he responds.

"Yeah, I guess that's true," I said.

We made it to the mansion. Duke came out first and helped me out of the carriage. I see his butler waiting for us. The butler escorted me to the room.

"This is your room, my lady," he said.

I entered and it was a nice and comfy room. "Wow, I love it here," I said, pleased.

"I'm glad you like it. Is there anything you need?" he asked.

"Yeah. May I see the garden?" I asked.

He nodded and led me to the garden. I walked through the gateway and saw beautiful flowers.

I pluck a rose out and smell it. I smile.

Ah, it reminds me of home. I wonder what my family is doing right now. I miss them.

The butler looked at me.

"My lady?" he asked.

"Oh, sorry. It's just that I miss my family already." I said smiling.

I continue walking through the garden. It was filled with fresh air and a nice cold breeze.

Duke Robert was looking through the window, looking at me.

Joseph knocks on the door. "Your majesty. I have more work for you," he said.

"Place it on my desk," he responded.

"Where are you looking at, your majesty?" he asked.

"I'm just looking outside," he responded.

He looks out the window and sees Rose in the garden. He looked at the duke and smiled.

-night-

I got ready for bed. They bathe me, brush my hair, and lead me back to my room.

I saw the duke working while wearing his robe.

Why is he here?

The maid rushed out of the room.

"Why are you here?" I was surprised.

"Well, this is our room," he said.

"What?!" I said surprise.

"We are a married couple. It's normal for us to sleep together," he said smiling.

Oh no! I'm scared.

He got up and lifted me into the bed. He placed me on the bed and was on top of me.

"Um.. w-wwwwhat are you doing?" I said stuttering.

"You want to know what newlyweds couples do during their honeymoon," he said, smirking.

"N-noooo, I don't! I don't want to know!" I said, screaming.

He stroked my hair and he bent down closer to my face.

I close my eyes tightly. 

He smiled and laughed.

What? 

He got off of me and went back to his chair.

"Do you think I would do that to you?" he said while still laughing.

I blushed. Argh!!!!! I can't believe he tricked me?

"Fine, I'm going to bed now," I said angrily.

That monster. I shouldn't know it was a trick. I'm so stupid.
