I decided to go to the same bookstore I went to last time to buy more novels. I was searching through every book, keeping the ones that interested me. I wasn't paying attention to where I was going. I bumped into someone and all the books fell to the ground.

"Ouch!" I said while landing to the ground.

"Are you okay, M'lady," he said while leading out his hand.

"Yes, I'm fine," I responded.

I looked up and saw a grey hair guy standing there. I grabbed his hand as he pulled me up gently. He picked up the books and handed them over to me.

"It seems like you enjoy reading romance novels," he said.

"I-i do" I responded.

"My name is Eric," he said while gently kissing my hand.

"I'm Rose. Nice to meet you" I responded.

Oh, he the gentleman type. 

"Yes, me too," he said.

"Ah, but I must be going now," he said while heading to the door.

He stopped.

 "I hope to see you again," he said smiling.

The counter lady approached me.

"Ohhh, you sure are popular," she said smiling

"W-what are you talking about?" I asked.

"I'm saying that you are popular with a lot of men," she said.

"No, I am not," I said.

I can tell she just teased me so I stormed out of the store.

She giggles.

I was going through town as I was thinking about what she said.

I'm not popular at all. Lady Rose is popular, not me. In my past life, I was just a normal and average girl. Some people like me or some just don't.

I made it to the carriage to go back to the mansion. I went to the room and plopped on the bed.

That guy? Who is he? I don't think he was in the novel. It was my first time seeing him. Maybe he was in the novel but I ignored him.

I was in my room until I heard a knock. My butler came inside and handed me some tea.

"Where did you go, Prince Eric," he asked.

"Oh, just a little research that all '' he responded while smirking.
