"Fuck no" I yelled at Luna

"Come on, you'll do great" she smiled

I wanted to reach over there and snatch her eyes right out of their sockets but they were too beautiful

"Who told you I can sing?" I asked, my voice was average. Once I sang in public for a pageant when I was six years old and let's just say. I wasn't even on the runners up list

"You did, right now" she smirked, I rolled my eyes. There's no way I'm going up there

"The people are waiting" she chuckled. LET THEM WAIT

Goddamit. I've never done something like this, I've preformed my cheerleading routine in front of people so many times you'd think I wouldn't even know what stage fright is. But this, this is different

"Hey, look at me" Luna said, her fingers intertwined with mine,

"You'll do great, I know you will" she smiled

"But if you really don't want to, I'll just go talk to them" she said raising her brow raised curiously, waiting on an answer. I groaned. I swear she could convince me that I could fly

"Fine. But only one song" I said, her grin reached her ear. She tugged me towards the stage.

"Don't be nervous" she smiled

"Easy for you to say"

"Here's the bright side, you don't know any of these people in here"
She's right, I wouldn't completely embarrass myself

"Sing what's in your heart and keep your eyes on me, everyone will just fade away" she said as she placed a kiss on my forehead before walking back to her seat. I closed my eyes, taking a deep breath in

I nervously walked onto the stage, their was a wooden stool. I took a seat and held the mic close to my chest. The mic gave a slight feedback, I cringed.
All eyes were on me, I tried to contain my breathing. I took a deep breath in and my eyes met Luna from directly across the room

"You got this baby" she yelled, I contained my smile before starting.

It felt like no-one was in the room. My eyes locked with Luna's, it felt as if a spotlight was just on her. Every word that fell from my lips reminds me of the way of feel about her

I felt the hot tears stream down my face for what felt like a year. My lips trembled. It was all hitting me at once, it was just a first date. It was just a few weeks. She was just a normal girl but I knew I was falling, I was falling hard. Was it lust? Was it....love?

I closed my eyes and pulled the mic away from my lips. My ear was filled with deafening claps. The room roared with appluases, I opened my eyes to see a standing ovation. As much as I'd appreciate this, my mind was on something else right now
